Ben Hunter was furious. What does 'sort of' mean? What does 'guess' mean? How can it just be 'sort of'?
Elliot Archer vaguely understood what Harry Hunter meant by "sort of." After much hesitation, he finally spoke cautiously, "Old Master Hunter, actually... rumors came out from the Weaver Clan Group this afternoon, saying that the head, Christopher Weaver, has disappeared, about the same time our university got shut down..."
As his words trailed off, his voice became barely audible. He feared that if he said more, Harry Hunter might hold it over him, and even if the school reopened, he wouldn't be able to remain as principal.
