Landon's POV
[Kelsey's Residence – 10:19 P.M.]
Kelsey made me say it five times.
Five.
And each time, her cheeks turned redder... like a damn tomato.
It was... fucking adorable. I couldn't take my eyes off her. Like hell, I would.
"That's enough. Don't say it again," she mumbled, placing her hand over my mouth.
I caught her hand, it was soft, warm... and then gently pulled it down from my lips.
"I could say it a few more times if you want," I said, watching her eyes avoid mine. "I love you, Kelsey."
"I said it's enough." She turned away, flustered but still not pulling her hand out of mine. "I guess I'm the idiot for making you repeat it."
"And don't ever call yourself wretched," she added, voice firm now. "You're Landon. Not wretched. Not even close."
"Is that so?" I asked, meeting her gaze. "Then when are we getting married?"
