Yvonne felt embarrassed when she saw Janice keeping silent. After all, they were friends. She said, "Janice, since Benjamin is here, let's have a meal together."
Yvonne moved inside as she spoke.
Without waiting for Janice's response, Benjamin sat down.
Janice was speechless. She had an impulse to get up and leave immediately, but she thought that she was his subordinate after all.
She had to consider her future, so she gave up the idea.
"Have you all ordered yet?"
Benjamin glanced at the table.
Janice remained silent.
Yvonne said, "I just ordered some barbecued meat. What do you want to eat?"
Benjamin picked up the menu and glanced at Janice, who was sitting opposite him. "Janice, I remember that you used to enjoy barbecue the most. Why don't I order a little bit of everything?"
Janice put down her cutlery. "I don't have an appetite today. You can order what you like."
After saying that, she got up and went to the bathroom.
