Knock... Knock... Knock.
The sound of knocking on Alpha's door echoed clearly through the corridor, but there was no response.
The servant hesitated for a moment, then knocked again, this time louder.
"Sir Alpha... are you there? The King has requested your presence."
Silence.
The servant stepped closer to the door and raised his voice slightly:
"Sir? Are you alright?"
Despite the insistence, not a single sound came from inside.
He placed his hand on the doorknob, then paused—as if afraid to violate Alpha's privacy—and took a step back.
"I'll return later..." he muttered quietly before walking away.
As he left Alpha's door, he murmured to himself,
"He's not responding… maybe he's asleep, or just doesn't want to be disturbed."
He headed straight to the chief steward's quarters and knocked softly.
The chief steward opened the door and looked at him with surprise.
"What is it?"
