The sound of the city outside faded as I closed my eyes and hugged the pillow closer. Joonseo's grip still burned on my wrist. I could feel the way his voice trembled—not from sadness, but from a storm of jealousy and anger he tried to hide behind that cold face. And I… I didn't even fight him.
I should've screamed at him. Told him he had no right to touch me after everything. But the part of me that still belonged to him… it didn't want to scream. It just wanted him to hold on.
