Isolde kept quiet as the advisors looked at her. Her fingers were fidgeting but she immediately held her hands together, her expression firm.
"You did not, but we created fairy dust, mentioning that someone used it on you definitely concerns me and Nightbourne." She replied, her tone laced with determination.
"What if the person bought it from Nightbourne, Queen Isolde?" Seraphina questioned softly. Isolde's expression softened. "We also create things that the merchants of your kingdom buy so what if someone from Duskbane had gotten the fairy dust? We are not even sure that the intruder is from Duskbane."
"Well, you should have said that earlier but I can vouch that the intruder is not from my kingdom…
"We should not get ahead of ourselves, Isolde." I interrupted her and she turned her gaze to me. "This intruder can be from anywhere but we have to find out the reason they came into the Queen's chamber."
"They?" Isolde asked curiously.
