"The era of the Rocks Pirates ends here—at the Valley of the Gods!" Sengoku declared, his fists clenched tightly as his eyes scanned the distant sea horizon.
"This battle will determine everything," said Kong, his voice low but firm as he addressed his top officers. "Victory will belong to the Marines—but don't forget, this war comes with the very real risk of death."
Though the Marines had gathered an army of elite powerhouses, they knew well that the Rocks Pirates were no ordinary adversary. They were an alliance of living monsters—each one a force capable of reshaping the seas on their own. Taking them down would demand the ultimate price.
"We understand," replied Garp, nodding alongside Sengoku, Zephyr, Tsuru, and the other officers. Their expressions were grim, but resolved.
Suddenly, a Marine scout stationed on the cliffside lookout cried out, voice tinged with panic.
"R–Rocks Pirates! They're approaching from the east!"
In an instant, every pair of eyes turned toward the distant sea. The tension doubled.
There, rising like an abyssal titan from the mist, loomed the Behemoth, flagship of the Rocks Pirates. The massive ship carved through the ocean like a sea monster—its shadow stretching across the waves.
Every Marine recognized that ship. It wasn't just infamous—it was legendary.
The Rocks Pirates had arrived.
---
Onboard the massive ship, the mood was far from tense—it was thrilling.
"Jihahaha! The Marines really went all out this time," Golden Lion Shiki laughed, floating in the air via his Fuwa Fuwa no Mi, peering ahead at the countless Marine warships amassed on the coast.
"This is going to be a real bloodbath," said Charlotte Linlin, licking her lips with anticipation. "It's been a while since I had a proper fight."
"I hope I find someone strong enough to keep me entertained," Kaido muttered, swinging his kanabo lazily onto his shoulder, his beast-like eyes narrowing.
"Kaido," Linlin snapped, "don't go charging off on your own like an idiot. You stray too far and you'll die out there. These enemies aren't like the weaklings we've crushed before."
Though Linlin was here under the Rocks banner, her motivations were far more self-serving. She cared little for the grand plans of domination. Instead, she wanted to watch how this war played out—and protect the few she saw potential in, like Kaido.
"Tch. I know," Kaido grunted, but made no argument.
In the shadows of the deck stood Ayr, his gaze locked onto the shoreline.
"This battle... will push my Immortal Eyes further than ever," he thought silently. The energy rising from the battlefield was immense—perhaps enough to accelerate his growth.
His Sage Body had reached its peak, but the Immortal Eyes were still only in their elementary phase. And to reach the next level, he needed progress—thousands of points of it.
"If I survive this chaos, I might finally advance them..."
"Gururara... Ayr," came a familiar laugh. Edward Newgate, the future Whitebeard, walked over, his Bisento slung across his back. "Don't go dying on me now. I still owe you a drink."
Ayr smirked. "Same to you, Edward. Just because you survive in the original timeline doesn't mean that's guaranteed here."
Indeed, with Ayr's presence diverging from the canon, the butterfly effect was real. Anything could happen now. No one—other than Rocks—was guaranteed to fall. But neither were they guaranteed to live.
"Hah! You think I would die in a place like this? Not a chance!" Whitebeard grinned wide.
---
As the Rocks' ship neared the coast, the Marine forces sprang into full battle readiness.
On the central Marine warship, Marshal Brownie stood tall at the bow, wind blowing through his coat as he raised his hand.
"Ready all batteries! Fire at will!!"
At his command, more than a dozen Marine battleships lit up the sky with a barrage of artillery fire. Cannonballs, like flaming meteors, tore across the skies, aimed squarely at the approaching flagship.
But…
"Fools," Rocks D. Xebec muttered.
He stepped forward, slowly unsheathing a blade crackling with Conqueror's Haki. The sword was a Supreme Grade—a weapon that could cleave continents.
"Ching!"
With a blur of motion, Rocks leapt high into the sky—his figure shimmering against the sun.
"SHHHRACK!!"
With a single, devastating slash, he tore through the air itself. The sound of ripping space echoed as the force of his blade warped the very atmosphere.
A wave of Haki-infused sword energy erupted forth, colliding mid-air with the artillery shells.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!
One by one, the cannonballs exploded in midair, reduced to dust and flame by the sheer ferocity of Rocks' attack. Smoke and fire filled the skies above the sea—but none of it reached the ship.
Rocks landed back at the prow, unfazed, his blade still humming.
The Marines stared in horror.
"He—he stopped all of them… with one swing?!"
"Hundreds of shells... just gone!"
"He's a monster! How do we fight someone like that?!"
Fear crept into the ranks. Though these were elite Marines—prepared to give their lives—they weren't immune to terror.
"That's the power of Rocks D. Xebec," one officer whispered. "Not even Shiki or Linlin can match his might. And today... we face him."
Brownie scowled as he watched from the ship. "Damn you, Rocks... always overconfident."
But Rocks only laughed—his booming voice shaking the waves. "This island will be my proving ground! My path to world domination begins HERE! Anyone who stands against me... will DIE!!"
---
This was no longer just a skirmish between pirates and Marines.
It was the beginning of a war that would reshape history—a battle that would echo through the ages.
The Valley of the Gods had become a crucible.
And only the strongest would survive.
