"That is outrageous, posteriors, barbaric!! Moses screamed with range to earn a punch from one of the men standing there. He spat out blood moving his shifted chin back to place.
"It's the least I can do for you, I know you don't want to see your family dead." She giggled staring at her newly manicured nails.
"Take me instead and leave my family out of this!" Moses grumbled.
"Oh come-on now Moses, stop acting like a child. You'd have other children, all I need is your first child." Giuliani smiled sweetly. "Ten million dollars will be all yours dear, you don't want to reject this offer." She coaxed him some more.
"I'm sorry, my child is not for sale. Let's leave my family out of this, give me time and I'll pay you back."
"But you brought your family into this, I didn't. Besides, how would you pay such money when you cannot afford a hundred dollars? Don't forget the lots are no longer on your side anymore. Nothing is in your favour anymore." She went on to say, "And what makes you think I would let you find a way to repay me and not cause more troubles?" Her tiny devious voice rang in his ears annoying him the more. Moses gritted his teeth.
"Are you threatening me?" He asked. "No, no, nothing like that. I'm only stating facts. I'm evil Moses you seem to have forgotten."
Moses was silent for a moment, weighing the pros and cons. He didn't plan to stay this long in here, his wife was in dire need of a doctor, and no one was willing to work on her till he has settled atleast half of the bill. Maybe if he takes the money he could pay her bill and gather more money and power to steal his child back again. He thought.
"Okay, I accept the deal." He said to see the grin on Giuliani's face. "It is settled then, bring in the document." She ordered her men and they brought a long file. "Sign here and here Mr. Koslov." She instructed with a smile and he did as told.
As he stared at her, he wondered if smiling had become a part of her now. Not that it was bad, but it was obvious her smile was fake cause she was doing it too much.
After signing, the men in black surrounded him and the next time he woke up, he was laid by the side of the road, with a black bag sitting beside him.
Moses rose immediately, picking the bag beside him. When he opened it, his eyes turned wide.
His ten million!
This was more than enough to sustain his family for years while he finds means of stealing his daughter back.
He held the $10million in his hands like his life depended on it. He tried not to draw in attention but he just couldn't. 10million is something he hasn't held in years after quitting from his drug dealing business because of love.
He stepped into the hospital, "Oh, Mr. Koslov, I've been searching everywhere for you." The doctor approached Moses. Moses tightened his hands around the bag.
"I have the money now, work on my wife." He said quickly for the man to smile.
"Congratulations Mr. Koslov your wife has already delivered sucessfully." The doctor patted his shoulder instead. Moses stared at the man in disbelief, he was speechless. As if he didn't hear the man correctly, "What did you say?"
"I said you now have a daughter Mr Koslov." The doctor repeated to see the man cover his mouth with his hands. They worked on his wife without the money yet demended for half of it?
He has just sold his child for nothing?
"But you said you wouldn't work on her unless I pay half of it?" His confused gaze met the doctors.
"I never said that, maybe you didn't hear correctly Mr Koslov. Our hospital is a respectable one, we cannot let our patients die, it destroys our reputation." Moses couldn't understand anything anymore, but he tried to focus on the bright side.
He had a child now, that's all that matters. His family was safe. He is a proud father and husband. He wouldn't let them suffer anymore, even if it means going back to his old ways.
"Where are they?" He asked.
"Before you see them Mr. Koslov you have to pay and wash up so you don't infect your daughter. She's a new born and don't have to be around... dirty." He pointed out the obvious and Moses nodded.
At this moment Moses had completely forgotten about the deal he made a few hours ago. He was just focused on seeing his wife and new baby.
Moses followed the doctor to his office to clear the bill before stepping into the public bathroom to wash up and change into their patients attire. He stepped into the room which held his child along with a few other children. His name was attached to her little bed since it seems his wife was yet to name the child.
Just as she had told him, she wanted him to name their child. The closer he got to his daughter's bed, he could see how cute and adorable she is. She was the only one awake among the other sleeping children in there. Moses instantly regretted why he had agreed to give his daughter out.
He had made the greatest mistake of his life. What would his wife do or say when she finds out he has sold his own child?
He picked her from her bed where she laid quietly. Tears dropped from the corners of his eyes as he stared into those enchanting green eyes that were like his. "Welcome to the world Rose." He murmured carefully so as not to wake the other chikdren.
As if little Rose noticed her father's pain her tiny mouth curled and endless melodies flew from that little lips. The sound of her cries was melody in her father's ears and he couldn't help but cry more too.
"Now now my dear, daddy will never let anything bad happen to you I promise. I will protect you from anything and anyone who would try to harm you." He said to the little baby who immediately stopped crying and just stared at him quietly.
Even if she had only been born a few hours ago, it felt like she understood his words and emotions.
Moses wasn't willing to give his child out again. He was ready to fight to keep her safe once again. It doesn't matter what it takes, but he wanted his family complete no matter what.
"I promise you my love, I'll protect you."
"You shouldn't be making promises you cannot keep Moses." A familiar voice echoed from behind him and he turned to look at her.
Guiliana was right behind him in flesh and blood just as she promised. She's here to take away his child. His gripped tightened around his angel in an attempt to protect her from the devil before him.
"A deal is a deal Moses, I've done my path it's now your turn to do yours. Give me my baby."
