The crowd ooh'd and aah'd as the swordsmans with a smile that could light up the night sky danced for the people he'd helped today and it was with joy in his heart and laughter in his eyes that pulled the greatest magic trick of all, he invited Gaia for a dance and the primordial of the earth happily accept the mortal mans invitation.
"Oh earth mother will you allow me this dance" the crowd seemed a bit confused but let the music play and the cheer continue as the simple tribute of the swordsman became a party for the celebration of them surviving hookwolf but some noticed something and watched intently as the air shimmered next to the swordsman.
The woman that arrived was very obviously the earth mother there was no denying it, be it her radiance or her beauty or even the unfathomable power that effortlessly radiated from her it was undeniable that the man had invited a god and the invitation was accepted.
The swordsman knelt before the woman with leaves and vines growing from her hair and asked once more "oh earth mother, oh Gaia may I have this dance" even for the normal people that could see the goddesses face could make out the twinkle of happiness that the man before made her feel.
The voice that answered the man's request was that of liquid gold mixed with the person hearing it's own mother as she spoke equally as gently as the man. "Of cause my dear champion" the smile she got from him would stay with her forever more in the safest parts of her mind.
So it was with happiness twinkling in their eyes and pure joy in there movements that the goddess and mortal Champion danced.

"So you you think they forgot we were here?" Miss militia broke the awkward silence as her and Armsmasters stated at the parahumans (to their knowledge) dance happily, the man beside her just grunted and moved to walk back to his bike.
"Are we not going to take him in for questioning?" Armsmasters didn't even bother with a reply and instead looked back at the swordsman surrounded by normal humans and then back at her, "yeah we probably wouldnt be able to get to them without hurting any civilians" so with a shrug she climbed back onto her bike and rode away with Armsmasters.

The mortal and goddess continued dancing for what seemed like forever but was only 2 hours before the universe decided it had more work for the swordsman, in the form of more of hookwolf's Ilk.
With a twinkle of mischief in her eyes Gaia told her favourite champion about the incoming trouble and was quite excited about watching her human once more display his incredible skill.
With a sigh and an apology to Gaia the man turned around and walked to the edge of the party to confront the annoying pests. Looking at them he could recognise some like storm tiger from his bear chest and tiger helmet along with Kaiser with his full plate armour.
When he was a safe distance from the people behind him, the swordsman with seemingly no care sat on the curb and watched the large group of humans and parahumans slowly make their way closer.
"Are you the murderer that kill our beloved hookwolf" was called out by Kaiser but the man seemed to ignore them until the arrived within 100 metres.
"I shall give you all the same warning I gave the metal dog, leave this area peacefull and I will not harm any of you but if you continue on this path seeking the death of innocent people I shall do what I must" when none of the group backed up or even bothered to answer him the man sighed and stood abruptly.
"I pray you find happiness in your next life" and with his peace said the man unsheathed his blade with a flourish and settled into a loose stance. before any of the parahumans could even make it within 4 steps of the man his blade flickered to the left of his head and in a single smooth motion drained all the momentum from the tinker tech high calibre sniper round gently laying in Infront of him.
"Coward" was all that was said as the swordsman stared dead into the eyes of the sniper before he kicked the bullet back with pin point accuracy and an accompanying crack of the sound barrier being broken.
With the sniper delt with the man lowered his stance and took a deep breath.
"Thunder breathing 1st form: thunderclap and flash sixfold" with a incredible boom and flash of light the man was gone and the ground he stood on reduced to a smoking crater, this was instantly repeated 5 times in less time it takes to blink and with every clap of thunder a head would roll (except for the child and the healer).
With another resounding crack of thunder the man appeared once more but now on the other side of the gathered mob of Nazis and with a flick to rid his blade of any blood not completely atomized he resheathed his blade and turned back to the party that had stopped the moment the people saw the group arriving.
With a polite bow and an apology to everyone for disturbing them from their celebration when he noticed a person from the pile of bodies getting up, the man had bleached white skin and hair and seemed perfectly fine after being beheaded.
"What the fuck just happened" was the man's first words after waking up and the last as he was unceremoniously smacked on the back of the head by a teenager with a plank of wood and knocked out.
The boy after completing his task sprinted back over to his family that looked like he was about to get the beating of his life.
With a chuckle at the antics of the younger generation (he's only 23) the swordsman walked back to Gaia and bowed deeply, "I apologise dear earth mother but I believe we have overstayed out welcome this night" and with a small smirk Gaia nodded and looped her arm through her human's and started walking with him to something else she wanted to do today (read dragged him along with her as he's currently powering her body)
