Chapter 425 - Chapter 425: Mythical Pokémon

Shaymin was Zillion's trump card!

Sato and the others never expected that Zillion could actually catch a Mythical Pokémon.

After all, the value of any Mythical Pokémon far surpassed that of pseudo-legendaries, because they required no training at all and were born with exceptional combat abilities.

However, most Mythical Pokémon yearned for peace and disliked fighting. But if one could gain their approval and make them a hidden ace, there would be no problem at all.

Giratina had already fully withdrawn its Legendary pressure. It carefully shifted its massive body, trying its best to appear kind and approachable.

Unfortunately, Shaymin in its Land Forme was very timid and easily frightened.

So, before Giratina could even get close, Shaymin had already darted into Zillion's arms like a flash, leaving only its dark eyes peeking out, observing everything outside.

Seeing this, Sato and the others had no choice but to accept that Zillion had indeed earned Shaymin's recognition.

"Honorable Giratina, I mean no offense, but I have something very important to accomplish using the Reverse World. If you're willing to permit it, once it's done, Shaymin and I will remain here in the Reverse World until the day I die."

From afar, Zillion looked a bit disheveled. His once-pristine suit was now covered in stains and scratches.

But as he said these words, he exuded a sense of "righteous aura", as if he had long been prepared to make a "noble sacrifice".

"~~"

Giratina flicked its tail in midair, and in an instant, its whole body was in front of Zillion, barely a meter away, locking eyes with Shaymin.

"Min~"

Shaymin called softly to Zillion, who lowered his head and looked at Shaymin earnestly. "Didn't we already make a promise?"

"Min…"

Shaymin's eyes were filled with inextinguishable sorrow, but in the end, it timidly nodded at Giratina, indicating that everything Zillion said was true.

"~"

Giratina didn't care about Zillion's words. The only thing it cared about was Shaymin and its promise. It only trusted Shaymin.

Once it saw Shaymin nod, Giratina no longer paid attention to anyone else present and turned away, leaving without concern over whether Zillion would keep his promise.

"Sato, weren't you all curious about why I came to the Reverse World? Then come with me and see for yourselves. Just don't let your faith collapse when you do." Zillion laughed meaningfully, then turned and continued walking.

The three exchanged glances, then followed without a word.

Sato had already begun to suspect that what Zillion was about to reveal might be the League's dark side, things that the public would never know.

The destination was indeed close. After Giratina's departure, Sato and the others walked for only two more minutes before arriving at the location Zillion had mentioned.

It was a small floating island. At its center was a "pool". Shadows danced on its bottom, but before Sato and the others could see clearly, Zillion had already issued a command.

"Shaymin, Seed Flare."

"Min~"

A blinding white light flashed, and everyone by the pool vanished. When they opened their eyes again, their surroundings had completely changed.

"Where is this?" Mark asked, looking at the white walls, the blinding incandescent lights on the ceiling, and the rows of neatly arranged small cabinets.

"Hehehe…"

Zillion didn't say a word. He simply glanced around, then had Sawsbuck violently break open a cabinet and pulled out a set of pure white work clothes.

He casually put the clothes on without saying a word to Sato and the others, and walked straight toward the room's only door.

Bang~

The door closed. Sato and Joseph exchanged a glance, then silently picked out a set of work clothes each and put them on.

"Hey hey, wait for me, wait!" Mark clumsily zipped up his suit and followed Sato and the others to the door.

"Gengar, Spatial Barrier."

"Gar~"

Gengar's voice responded from below, and in the next moment, Sato's group vanished from the room.

Lately, Gengar's understanding of the pink energy had been improving at an incredible rate. Originally, it could only create a flat spatial barrier.

Now, Gengar could effortlessly create a curved dome that completely concealed Sato and the others.

In other words, full invisibility!

Click~

The door opened, and a wave of hushed murmurs rushed in. In sight were rows of people in white coats, walking briskly, and no one paid any attention to the fact that the room's door had suddenly opened.

Zillion had already blended in with the workers. He kept his eyes on the doorway, thinking Sato had come out, only to see the door open without anyone emerging.

'…Where were they?'

A flash of suspicion crossed Zillion's eyes, but remembering his true objective, he could only leave silently.

Meanwhile, Sato and the others, concealed by the spatial barrier, carefully wove their way through the "crowd".

If any of the white-coats touched the edge of the barrier, they might accidentally pass through part of it, revealing Sato and the others.

"RO…OOO…OW!"

Suddenly, a harsh cry echoed nearby. Sato and the others turned to look and saw two huge brown wings thrashing wildly among a group of people before falling eerily still.

Throughout it all, the workers remained busy, not even glancing back… as if they were completely used to it.

"Those wings… was that a Fearow?" Joseph asked uncertainly.

"It was a Fearow. Let's go look."

Sato spoke with certainty, then pulled Joseph and Mark with him toward the cluster of white-coats.

"Hiss~"

The sight made Mark gasp sharply, but Joseph quickly covered his mouth.

One of the nearby workers turned and looked in their direction. Seeing nothing unusual, he returned to his work.

On the workbench surrounded by the white-coats, a Fearow lay limp on its back, wings drooping. Its proud beak was completely gone, leaving behind only a raw, bloody wound.

"Beak fully extracted. Ready for Sharp Beak production."

"Good. Clean and store it. Next!"

One of the white-coats quickly took a silver metal box from a nearby rolling rack. The box clearly had spatial compression. Inside it was another unconscious Fearow, which he placed on the workbench.

"Secure the specimen."

"Check vital signs."

"Signs normal. Beak development: standard. Wing development: normal. Talon development: excellent. Recommend extraction of beak, wings, and talons."

"Not a bad specimen. Prep the disassembly unit. All three areas simultaneously."

"Yes, sir!"
