[ Chapter XIV (14): "FOR HONOR FOR THE EVERY PLAYERS & QUICK CHANGE IN THE LOBBY FOR THE PLANTS" ]
[ "-hhhh! Oh... I'm back?" ] Player No. 45 after the grueling experience of fighting a Viking in a foreign land/ship, as the Knight class that he chosen finally ended. To his dismay that is, as he then looks at the other Players that are worried about him.
[ "Hi guys... I, I uhh- what happened back there?" ] He glanced behind him, then at his feet which was glowing minutes earlier causing him to be transported into another plane entirely. Wherein buildings we're akin to olden days with Viking era.
Talking about Vikings, he fought one. Died thrice also, beaten by one. But even though he got killed thrice, he didn't felt any pain at all, only a tinge bit of scratching there that's it— and the fact he turned tall and mascular, wearing a suit of armor was fun.
After hearing his fellow Players talk about what happened earlier, Player No. 45 then began to talk, recounting his experience and to where he disappeared in those time he wasn't there with them. Of course sounding absurd to others, as some like No. 54 voiced out her thoughts.
[ "You can't be serious about this, 45." ]
[ "But I am serious!" ]
[ "So... there's another plain out there wherein we could fight, what? Samurais?!" ]
[ "Yuh huh." ] Player No. 45 nodded his head in response to the skeptical No. 54, as he then looked at the other Players chilling in the Garden nearby the waterfalls. [ "I swear. I tell you, there's an event going around." ]
[ "Nuh huh, that sounds absolutely impossible and kind of stup- what's this?" ] Player No. 54 always the skeptic of the bunch noticed something glowing at her feet. She noticed that it's a blue light in a small circular manner, the words "GoG" and "UTOPIA" written in it. Similar to the one her friend, No. 45 has gotten before then disappearing from the plains entirely.
[ "Hey guys, I don't think No. 45 was lyin-" ] She glanced at the Player that spoke that, before then it abruptly gets cut off by something, as she then noticed that she isn't on the grassfield any more. [ "W-where is this?!" ]
Instead she is on a street, a bustling one filled with human activity. As they go and went ignoring her which is dismayed. She scanned everything around her and noticed that the men have long hair, they wearing weird outfits too, and that they have pale complexion very unlike her which is brown.
[ "Okay,... this is geeeetting weird..." ] She kept looking and looking, noticing houses with weird architecture reminiscent of old Japan. In the times of the Samurais actually, as she then noticed some people carrying sheathed swords— Katana on their side.
After some time, she then realized No. 45 wasn't lying at all. But different from his story of what happened, these men aren't raiding Vikings at all, but are instead peaceful honorable Samurais going about their day... But if her friend's story is to go by, then something would appear right about... [ "Now...?" ]
[ PLEASE, PLAYER, CHOOSE YOUR FACTION ]
[ KNIGHT FACTION ]
[ VIKING FACTION ]
[ SAMURAI FACTION ]
[ "Exactly like I thought." ] She heard through the mouth of her friend, that there would be a floating window— not for giving task about planting, watering, or playing with the Plants. But is instead one aimed at giving the Player a chance to turn into either a Knight, a Viking, or into a Samurai.
She didn't completely believe it of course, but seeing it first-hand made her instantly believe that whatever that weirdo said is true. As she then picked the bottom most option, the Samurai Faction. [ "Okay..." ]
About to calm down and watch her body transform, she did. As she then became taller, from her 5'3 shrimp-like height to an absolute unit, as she then was equipped with Samurai armor and weapons...
[ ARENA MISSION: "KILL THE ENEMY SAMURAI CHAMPION" ]
[ REWARD: +150 SYSTEM CREDITS, SAMURAI KILLER TITLE ]
[ "What...?!" ] About to calm and enjoy the scenery, she couldn't. As Player No. 54 then was tasked to kill something, something she doesn't know of yet. So she glanced behind him, and could see an absolute unit pointing his Katana at her. [ "Oh no." ]
...
[ MAIN MISSION: "ACHIEVE 10 PLAYERS EXPERIENCE THE FOR HONOR GAMES" ]
[ REWARD: +100 SYSTEM CREDITS, NPC BEHAVIORAL COMMAND LVL. 1 ]
[ "Huh... that's cute." ] Arthur who's floating in a blank white space could be seen sitting on the ground. Multiple videofeed of the Garden, the Lobby, and Arenas that he built being played. As some Players could be seen either panicking, or fighting NPCs.
Yawning to himself, Arthur could be seen tinkering with the codes of the place. Ever improving it as the time goes, and also fixing errors that the first Players encountered, so that the next Players wouldn't encounter it.
Like per say, some Players in Arena A escaping the pit and running out of bounds of the stadium. Which was funny, so in exchange for Credits which he has plenty of, he then decided to make the hole slightly bit deeper, added some obstacle also.
In finally feeling satisfied, Arthur then let his Players run wild. That is of course after many-many trial and errors. In the case of Billy Batson on the other hand, he is waiting to play Arena A; as in seeing the poor gameplay of the kid, did Arthur decided to let that available to others also.
Now he needs to wait in the line to play that, rather than dying and then joining again, trying to fight the Knight Champion NPC to no avail. Hopefully that in doing this, then could Arthur indirectly say to the kid— "stop it, play strategically, or get some help" that should be the case.
After finally seeing his hardwork pay off, Arthur decided to throw all the videofeeds to the side, as he then opens up another. This one showing clearly the messy place, which is that of the Lobby.
The whole of it was shown to him, the imbalance of the platform to the Garden is clearly shown. As the former is just a strip of floating thin stripes of gravel, while the latter is a giant floating dirt... Seeing that it's ugly, Arthur decided to reinvent it.
Especially because his primary income at the moment is the Lobby i.e. the Plants living inside it. So as his first act of consruction, he then grabbed the Garden and moved it far-away, as he needs to upgrade the size of the platform.
After the platform, then did he increase the size of the spawner— not the pillar of light, that size is permanent, as he instead increase the size of the stoneway and railings of it. In doing so, seeing his wallet decrease in size in real-time.
This act being painful in his eyes, torture even. But for the sake of increase in revenue, and for his place to be admired. He did this, as then finally, in seeing the Players panicked on the ground, did he stop editing the Lobby. Lastly connecting the Garden with the newly upgraded platform.
[ "What is happening over there...?" ] He glanced at the panicked Players, and the overjoyed Plants. In how some Players are leaving the game, jumping into the space, or hiding inside the Garden. He doesn't know why they are doing this, but hopefully they would calm down after some time.
He could see some of them praying in the direction of the spawner, or even crying. This caused Arthur to mutter something to himself ignoring them, as he then opened up his System's Shop. [ "Weird people." ]
[ 4,724 SYSTEM CREDITS ]
As with the remaining Credits he has, yes, he drained his wallet to that degree. Did he buy 3 packs of Day Pack Seedlings, they having much more variety compared to the Basic Pack which only has Sunflower, Peashooter and Wallnut.
As even though the Day Pack is much more expensive, costing 1,500 compared to the 1,000 Credits that the Basic Pack is giving. The Day Pack make up for it in income, as the more unique the Plant is, the more Credits do they give as compared to Basic.
So Arthur didn't have any qualms in spending his money, i.e. investing on those seedlings, that would grow up to be citizens of the Garden and best friends to the Players. In total, he has about 300 seedlings, which he then distributed to the 100 Players he has— 3 for each.
After seeing that his work is done, Arthur levitated and pulled out his teleported. Clicking the Lobby, as he then teleports primarily but to the Lobby-Lobby where the Players are panicking at, but instead to his home which is some away far from the chaos that he had caused. [ "Do I play, what? Minecart or Roblox, I just can't decide what I should do." ]
...
Player No. 54 after dying twice, was then gonna be killed thrice by the Samurai in front of her. As she then gets stabbed in the abdomen, a tickle to her, before then getting beheaded by the said Samurai behind her. Bowing as she then lost her consciousness in this place.
[ "Ahhhh!" ] Regaining it back, ready to fight for the fourth time with new strategy. But to her surprise, she didn't spawn back at the Samurai village, but is instead back on the Garden wherein the sound of waterfall is ambience to her; and to her friends. [ "Oh hey, I'm back... Where did everybody go?" ]
About to recount her experience to Player No. 45 and the others, boast about it actually, but she couldn't do that, as she couldn't find her friends in their usual spot. So she resorted to moving, trying to find them, going back to the platform.
On the way there, he could see Plants of different kind running. In the case of the Wallnuts, being carried or rolling. As she then grabbed one, seeing that both of them are going the same way, after all.
Being carried by someone made the Wallnut confused at first, but then happy as it then comfortably sat by Player No. 54's arms. As the both of them then came out the jungle-like surroundings of the Garden; to then be presented the platform.
[ "Is this even Paradise...? Did I spawn in the wrong server, or what?!" ] Which is bigger, much more designed, and isn't cramped as compared to before. On the first glance, she became confused, as she then questions what's happening.
But was assured that this is the right place, as she noticed Players wearing that grey jumpsuit going on about their day, talking to one another on the now bigger pathway, and some even on the now bigger spawner not so far away from her. [ "Huh... what happened here?" ]
She placed down the Wallnut that she is holding, to that Plants dismay, as it then rolled around to the other Plants. As No. 54 on the other hand was ready to talk to the other Players, inquire about what's happening, but paused as some window appeared in front of her— and to the other Players also she noticed.
[ PLAYER MISSION: "PLANT THE 3 DAY SEEDLINGS YOU'VE RECEIVED" ]
[ REWARD: MOUNTAIN DEW (16oz), SNICKERS BAR x3 (52.7 grams) ]
She and others became excited, as they then pulled out their Inventories. In the case of No. 54, she sat on the newly renovated bench nearby, as she browsed her Inventory which is filled with assortment of goods.
Ranging from halfly drank softdrinks, to candies, to chocolates, to even biscuits. All of which she received for completing the time-to-time Mission that the System, or whoever Creator gives for them.
Which wasn't that difficult, it is either about planting, moving something, chatting, or playing around with the Plants. Basic work, so she and the others didn't complain and did those, the prize was just bonuses for them. As in this place, entertainment is scarse even though it's peaceful.
About to ignore the planting Mission for now, she was about to find her friend group and talk to them about what she expetienced. But paused in his tracks as she noticed another Player having the same exact blue circle below his feet, as he then disappeared seconds later.
The Players around him being confused also, as they talked around. Some who had experience this phenomena, like her, talked about where they are going. Stories varying from Knights, Vikings, and of course Samurais that she expetienced. But the way it happens, or what'll happen, is the same.
So Player No. 54 after hearing what she wanted to hear, finally split off the impromptu group that she was with. As she then waves at the confused friends of her, ready to recount the 2-3 minute story of her's, [ "Hey guys, guess what just happened." ]
