Lilith swallowed, her lips parting as if to respond, but his mouth covered hers before she could speak. The kiss was soft. Her nightgown slipped slightly off one shoulder as he pressed her gently against the wall beside the window, surrounding her with his warmth, his hands, his lips, his breath.
He kissed down her neck again, lingering at her collarbone, then lower still, his lips brushing the delicate swell of her chest. Her back arched instinctively, one leg curling around his to draw him closer. No matter how many times he touched her, kissed her, held her, it always felt like the first.
