Felix's POV
I stormed out of the room, silence my only companion. Dove's latest threat had ignited a fire within me, and I could feel my demon stirring, hungry for release.
The audacity of sending Treasure a letter was a provocation I wouldn't tolerate.
In my office, I slammed my fist into the wall, the crack echoing through the room.
My inner demon snarled, "You're losing control, Felix. You can't let this girl get under your skin."
But I couldn't shake off the feeling of possessiveness, of ownership. Dove had crossed a line, and I wouldn't back down.
"This is the final warning," I growled, my voice low and menacing.
My demon taunted me, "You kissed her, Felix. What were you thinking?" Another voice whispered, "You're falling, and it's not just about possession."
I downed a whiskey in one gulp, feeling the burn all the way down. I couldn't be falling for her.
