On the couch by the window, I keep my legs folded and my feet covered in the blanket. By the sill I lean. As I take a deep inhale while the wind softly breezes, I can smell the fragrance of the blooming sweet alyssum… It seems like it is time they bloom again.
For the nightmare and the consequential thoughts have kept me up all night, I have lost track of time, even up till now.
Out of the window I gaze. I can see the first light seeping through the slit that the dawn breaks at the horizon——Black, indigo, purple… And now, there is gold.
The sunrise is supposed to bring every mind back to reality. However, as I squint at it, I feel it drawing my consciousness away from my head. I try to resist, yet my eyelids are just so heavy that they can't stop falling…
My vision turns vague for a while until the scenery abruptly changes along with only a blink——
