Hearing the angel's words, Noah felt it was absurd. Wasn't the life of a Golden Dragon worth anything?
"You are an Ancestor Dragon, don't you have the protection of the Dragon God?"
Ophelia looked at Noah, utterly flabbergasted.
"Dragon God's protection? Which Dragon God? Can you send me one?"
Noah was equally puzzled, thinking perhaps this Great Angel had some divine backing and assumed he must have some support too.
"Ah, no?"
The angel's expression grew more perplexed.
"Of course not."
Noah replied firmly.
"Then how did you evolve to become an Ancestor Dragon? Without the Dragon God's protection and blessings, how can an ordinary Dragon Species achieve the ultimate Ancestor Return?"
Ophelia inquired, puzzled and perplexed.
"Naturally, through my own struggles and efforts. The fact that I've reached this stage is entirely due to my own endeavors, without any blessings from a Dragon God."
