Aurora was worried.
And her source of worry? Spencer!
That guy... he was ignoring her! On the first day, Aurora acted as if everything was alright and tried to talk with him, but Spencer only replied in two or three words.
Though he still brought her breakfast and lunch, he... was visibly colder!
By the second day, Aurora was having a headache!
This guy didn't even want to chat with her! He didn't send her any messages!
Aurora sat at her desk, resting her cheek on her hand and sighing for the hundredth time that day.
Mia was sitting beside her, watching her best friend sulk like a sad little puppy. It was the third sigh in two minutes.
"Aurora," Mia finally said, breaking the silence, "seriously—what happened between you and Spencer?"
Aurora bit her lip and hesitated. But she couldn't hold it in anymore.
"I... I think I messed up," she whispered.
Mia leaned closer. "Tell me."
Aurora looked around to make sure no one was listening. Then she began, her voice low.
