Selina understood exactly why Amelia was so shaken.
Although the truth behind Anna's death had been carefully hidden by the Reid and Perry families, anyone with a brain could guess Amelia was involved. And Owen? He wasn't even Anna's son—how could he possibly serve as any kind of spiritual protection?
Amelia was guilty. That's why she was scared.
Selina looked down at her, voice cool and mocking.
"Mrs. Perry, no need to be so nervous. Logan already agreed to let you stay. There's really no need to grovel."
Amelia trembled with rage. "Selina! You—just wait!"
Selina turned smoothly away. "Logan, Mrs. Perry probably doesn't want us witnessing her embarrassment. Let's go."
Logan gave the two a cold glance. "Mm."
Amelia flinched, but forced herself to endure it. She couldn't let go of what Anna had left behind—especially not now that she realized how much of it there was. But the problem was Anna's will.
So, she had a plan.
