Cassandra was worried when Avari had failed to answer her call several times after they had argued and exchanged plans. She had returned after failing once more and was now waiting in the spacious middle section of the ventilation system. All the while she was thinking of the mysterious way he had arrived at their production set.
'When Avari arrived we were just finished shooting the first scene , so almost nobody noticed that he totally appeared out of nowhere. And when most did notice I had-' , she stopped the thought then loudly said , " I acted all cringey and stuff!. And that ghost guy totally ungrateful for my help" .
She hadn't noticed that the mic wasn't turned off , "Stop calling me, "ghost guy", Cassy."
"Yikes!!" , she jolted in surprise and then decided to turn the tables ,"Don't tell me that you're lost again?"
"Well—" , Avari knew that he was caught.
"I knew it. " , Cass felt comfort from her recent fumble and had successfully changed the topic. She wanted to say one more thing but the background sound on Avari's side cut her off.
"You there! . What do you think you're doing there!?" , a deep, low tone voice frightened the already agitated Cassandra.
"Crap! , looks like they caught me!" . From those words the line went silent.
"Avari!!" , she shouted .
'Was he caught by the gunmen? . It seems so . Without his help , will the people in this building make it out of here alive?' , she was now worried that all hope was lost. 'Wait. Although all hope seems lost , if I can just make it out of here and get help then maybe everyone including Avari can be saved.'
Now that she had the resolve , she needed a weapon to make that goal happen. She turned towards the direction of the staff's storeroom and started to crawl that way. Over and over again she played the scene , more like auditory moment in her head .
'Looks like they caught me . Avari's words exactly . Meaning that he was making a plan to somehow get out if this mess and wherever he was heading contained that plan. But even I don't know where that idiot went .' , "Haaa." , she sighed in defeat . The only way that she could at least make an effort in this situation was to escape and for that she needed to get the weapon.
She formulated a plan . Firstly ,Cassandra would get to the storeroom and survey the room before moving on and finding a safe path outside the vents . Secondly , she then would come back to the room , search and select an item suitable to be a weapon. Thirdly , she would move forward on that chosen path and then make way to the exit.

30 minutes later....
"Hands in the air!!!!" , an intense voice issued the warning to Cassandra.
"You thought we wouldn't notice that a stick was missing from the storeroom huh!" , the sly one spoke finally.
"Well I didn't guess that this little operation of yours would be an inside job , right Xan?". Her face was covered in blood and bruises , with the two gunmen standing in front of her and the man she thought was a friend , sitting comfortably as the mastermind.
And all over the room there was....
Blood!!!
