Chapter 11
#### Someone's POV
I had just woken up.
"Diana, please don't bug me. Just let me sleep for a few more minutes," I mumbled as I sat up, looking at an extremely beautiful young lady.
"But Lucien doesn't need to sleep," she replied with a playful pout.
"I know, but I like it," I said with a soft expression. "Now, how about you come here, and we sleep for a few more minutes together?" I added as I slowly pulled her closer.
This girl, her name is Diana. She's fifteen, just like me, and we're companions. She's not my sister, though. She has a little quirk: she doesn't behave her age. She talks like a child and acts like one too. I met her a few months ago in the woods near our castle.
Me? My name is Lucien, and I'm the youngest son of Valerian McKay—the bastard who killed my mom or, at least, caused her death. People call me a demon—or so they claim—because I'm dark-skinned and can use dark magic. I'm a Special Grade Awakened, Just like the rest of my brothers and sisters . I can generate shockwaves too, and I wield two katanas simultaneously. I'm trying to teach Diana how to fight, but she's too soft for that. So, I promised to protect her all my life. I just hope I can fulfill that promise.

#### Diana's POV
Hi! My name is Diana, and I'm pretty and strong. I'm 11... or was I 9... or maybe 10? Oh, I forgot my age again.
"Lucien, can you tell me my age again?" I asked a beautiful, dark-skinned youth with piercing red eyes.
"Urghh, you're 15. Did you forget again?" he said, shaking his head. "Pack up. We're leaving for the competition at the Nameless City of the Lux Kingdom. Let's go meet my cousin," he replied with a hint of exasperation.
You know we're not supposed to be going,right?. I asked with slight worry in my voice
It's gonna be fine,I promise,he said putting his hands on my shoulders
I nodded eagerly, though I wasn't really sure what this competition was all about. As long as I was with Lucien, everything felt safe and exciting.
