Jack: "Still nothing from the others?"
Henry: "Nope, not a single word."
Jack: "Let us get going then."
Henry and Jack are walking in the direction of the arena when suddenly in front of them a barrier appears.
Jack: "Watch out!"
Henry walks against the barrier, hitting his head against it.
Henry: "Ouch, where did that come from?"
Jack: "This looks like a barrier, but it looks like…"
Suddenly, a train passes through them behind the barrier at a very high speed. After the train passed, the barrier disappeared.
Jack: "A hover train? I've never seen one in person."
Henry: "Speaking of person"
On the other side of the rail-like structure, a person wearing a black mask and a black hood stands there, watching them.
Jack: "Who are you?"
Jack asks the mysterious man, but he doesn't respond; he simply grabs two knives from behind him, rushing at them before disappearing in front of them.
Henry: "An enemy, where did he go?"
Jack: "Above you!"
Jack pushes Henry away. The mysterious man, who is flying above them using dark wings from his armpit reaching to his hand, drops down with his knives pointing at Jack at a high tempo.
Jack quickly wraps his arm in dragon scales, blocking the attack, struggling to push against the man's strength.
Henry quickly gets up, using Shooting Star to jump into the enemy, throwing him onto the ground.
The enemy then bites Henry's arm, which is pressing against his face, before turning his feet into those of a large bat, grabbing Henry's legs, and flying up into the sky.
Henry tries to punch the enemy with his bitten arm, but he can't move it.
His arm became numb, and slowly more of his body has become numb.
Jack quickly jumps into the air, growing wings from his back to fly up to the enemy.
The vampire drops Henry after noticing Jack flying up towards him.
Jack quickly catches Henry midair but then is surprised by the energy beams coming out of the vampire's eyes, which he quickly counters with his purple lightning, which he shoots out of his mouth. Both attacks clash at the midway point, making an explosion seen from the ship on which Ichiro is on.

Ichiro, who tries to see what is happening, tries to contact anyone from the group who is on land.
The explosion that he had seen made him go into high alert mode.
Ichiro: "Lenny, go hide downstairs."
Ichiro says before quickly turning around, blocking a scythe with his aura-enchanted fishing rod that he had quickly taken. The scythe was swung at him by an enemy vampire with a mouth mask.
Ichiro: "It has been a trap all along."
He says before another enemy, a much larger and more muscular vampire, appears from behind, punching him with great power off the ship, sending him directly into the ocean's cold and dark water.
Scythe: "You take the boy downstairs; I take the one in the ocean."
Brute: "He better be strong, or else you will be next."
Scythe then turns his lower body into that of a gigantic octopus monster before jumping into the water.
Ichiro stands on top of the water thanks to a technique that uses precise aura control and balance, making him able to stand and fight on water.
Scythe dives into the water; because of the dark ocean, Ichiro isn't able to see Scythe inside of the water.
He tries to stay calm to sense his location when Scythe suddenly appears under Ichiro, throwing him off balance and grabbing him with one of his giant tentacles.
His gigantic body rises from the ocean's depth, holding Ichiro and smashing him into the water.
Ichiro, now finding himself underwater, tries to grab his fishing rod, but it slips out of his hand.
Ichiro faces upwards, seeing the lower body of the big octopus part of Scythe.
Then, a big mouth with lots of sharp teeth opens, and the octopus's arm slowly moves Ichiro towards the mouth, ready to eat him.
Ichiro tries to free himself from the tight grip, but as much as Ichiro moves and punches the arm, nothing helps.
Now being very close to the mouth, he focuses his aura on his hand, creating a vortex out of water and aura at his palm and pushing it towards the mouth.
The attack pushed the mouth a little away from him, but neither the mouth nor the body took any damage.
Ichiro, again focusing aura on his hand, this time in the shape of a blade, stabs into the giant octopus's arm, making it bleed and letting him go.
He quickly swims upwards, taking many hard breaths while a raging storm appears around the coast.
Ichiro: "LENNYYY"
Ichiro shouts towards the ship. Lenny has hidden inside the captain's deck, hiding from Brute.
Brute: "I can smell your blood."
He speaks towards the door. With one push he breaks open the door, entering the captain's deck, but Lenny is nowhere to be seen. A broken window next to the bed blows fresh air towards Brute's face.
Brute: "You little shit."
He says while going towards the window, looking down at the water, and seeing Lenny swimming towards Ichiro.
…
Lonut: "Our champions are showing with overwhelming power why they have directly been chosen by Baron Dravencourt himself. Scythe and Brute are taking the advantage in the sea while our greatest warrior, the undying Ardeval, is taking on two enemies at once on land. This is a great start for the special edition of the Lonut Games."
The crowd cheers violently while Emilia and Manu are trying to break free from their cage.
Manu: "Another plan, break me from my handcuffs."
Emilia: "Okay, I have an idea."
Emilia turns her hand into fog, filling the keyholes of the handcuffs with it.
…
Henry: "My body is slowly getting numb. I don't think that I can help you."
Jack: "Who even is that guy?"
Henry: "We fell for the trap, but his powers, I don't know if we can beat him."
Jack: "He is a beast-user, some kind of bat-vampire monster type; him being a vampire as well must have given him a special bond."
Henry: "Great, and what now?"
The storm becomes more violent, making it impossible for both of them to hear what each of them is trying to say to each other.
Henry: "I can't see; the rain is too strong. Where is he?"
Jack, unable to understand what Henry is saying, lands on the ground.
Jack: "Henry, I can't hear you. What did you say…?"
Out of nowhere, a sword stabs Jack from behind, raising him up.
Ardeval then throws Jack off his blade.
Henry: "NOOO!"
Full of rage, Henry charges at Ardeval, but with half of his body already numb, Ardeval easily overpowers Henry by punching him in his gut before grabbing his hair and pulling his head down from behind.
Henry stares into the black mask and the glowing red eyes.
Ardeval then opens his mouth, revealing his sharp vampire front teeth, licking them with his tongue.
Ardeval: "Be my guest."
He says, with his very strong accent.
