Asano Kamisaku knew the only way to recoup his losses was to snatch back the target project or to force the person who had stolen the project from him to provide financial compensation, or to make the other party accept his investment in a joint development endeavor.
To achieve any of these three goals, official channels were out of the question. After all, those shell companies managed to secure multiple projects by having solid government relations. If he could have matched their influence, he wouldn't be in such a passive position.
So, a legal approach was not an option.
That left only one alternative: resorting to underhanded tactics.
