"Are you coming? We are already late," I was starting to get irritated. "The flight won't wait for you, Your Highness"
"I'm coming. For God's sake shut your mouth for a while," Shade screamed from his room.
His holidays were officially over and he was getting ready to go back to Paris. I did wanted to go with him but I had things here to sort.
We were 5 minutes late when we reached the airport. Skyler also tagged along.
It took a while and a lot of Shade's lectures for him to act back normal. Poor thing had been blaming himself for whatever happened at the hotel. He felt guilty to even look at me and that was why he had been avoiding me. I gave him a playful punch on his arm and hugged him telling it was not his fault, and now here we are, going to sent Shade back to Paris.
Talking about them, now it's like they are best friends. Which makes sense as they had a lot in common. After Shade left, I went to my office.
"You are 10 minutes late." I walked in to see Arjun sitting on my chair. His bruises were almost healed, but the scar on the forehead still remained. He was still in medical leave so he didn't come here to talk anything job related for sure.
"What is it now?" He jumped up from the chair, took a flower from the vase on my table and gave it to me. He then took my hand in his and started walking out. He stopped at the Park.
"I've been meaning to tell you this, but I never had the courage to do so." He looked so cute when he was nervous. His hair falling on to his face, his dark brown eyes shined in the light as he looked around.
I felt a strange sensation in my chest, the same one I felt back in Jade's van. The one i had been waiting for to hear. Please be it.
I raised my eyebrow. "Spill it dude," He then closed his eyes.
"I liked you ever since I saw you, ever since I got to know you. You are like a light to my darkness, melody to my music, and I love you. It's like the clock of my life started ticking the day I met you. A purpose, a beautiful meaning for my life all I want to ask you is, Samantha H Larsen, Will you be my girlfriend?" He opened his eyes, I stared at him jaw dropped. That was the most beautiful thing someone ever told me. I nodded excitedly and he just picked me up and spun around. He then kissed me on my forehead. "In our culture kisses on forehead represents respect." He bowed. My cheeks burned and I could swear he saw me blush.
"That was quite a surprise you know." I tilted my head.
"You free today evening?" He asked
"No, but tomorrow will do."
"Perfect, so see ya, tomorrow evening I will pick you up from your place." he smiled. I nodded. He then left the park hopping. Never seen a guy become a child like his.
