Days quietly passed by.
Jiajie Wei and Qiang Zhang were both reluctant to leave. The Lantern Festival was approaching, but nobody wanted to depart.
Even though they only spent about ten days together, the bond formed felt deeper than one built over many years.
On the day of departure, Jiajie Wei couldn't help but tear up, and promised he would return during the summer break.
"Jiajie Wei, for this semester's final exams, let's compete and see who improves the most," Tang Jun's voice also choked up; after living together for so long, he too was reluctant to part.
"Okay," Jiajie Wei extended his hand.
Qiang Zhang and Tang Jun joined hands tightly, and everyone said in unison, "Even though we can't be together every day in the future, we still can't give up on our studies."
"I will run every day to exercise my body."
"I will memorize texts and formulas every day."
Qiang Zhang and Jiajie Wei firmly made their promises.
