Both Freda and Augustine instantly became stunned at the words of Charles. They literally couldn't believe their ears and they serious wish that what they had just heard are some sick prank… perhaps a joke.
"Pookie, you know that what you said just now is it funny right?" Augustine stated while pouting his lips as he pulled Charles face towards his chest.
Charles scoff dryly. "I… I have always… I have always thought about how I would tell." Charles began, his lips quivering in fright as he close his eyes.
He was getting more weak than he expected.
"I… I have gone to doctors to get myself treated while you are away in china." Charles stated, opening his eyes as he lifted his gaze to stare at Augustine whose eyes was intensely fixed on Charles. "The… the doctors I have all visited told me the cancer has spread through my entire body."
