The sky was oddly darker than the other nights, as if lamenting on the bloodshed that had occurred earlier. A day that was supposed to bring happiness and unite two souls together, had become the biggest regret. It begot a trauma that would accompany the family, especially Rosetta, to the grave. Deaths at her own wedding, never even in her wildest nightmare had she thought such a misfortune would befall her.
Seated on the floor, inside her room, Rosetta was gazing outside the window, her eyes empty. Only a single lamp was lit, defining her silhouette amidst the darkness. Her face was pale. Her lips were already dry, while her hands and legs were cold. Her wedding dress was covered in blood but nothing seemed to bother her. She was too immersed in sorrow to even recognise her own self, let alone others who have been waiting for her.
