After calming the dispute between Nova and Donlow, Luca finally decided to take the lead. He took the lantern from Nova's hand.
With that, the three of them proceeded down the passage.
Eventually, they reached a vast cavern.
Above them, a bluish-green light flickered, as if something was emanating from there. The bluish-green glow illuminated the cavern to some extent, allowing Luca and the others to see the details of the area.
At the far end of the cavern, Congressman Devitt was slumped on a massive stone throne.
"You've finally arrived!" Devitt's cold voice echoed through the cavern.
As they had planned, Luca, Nova, and Donlow attacked without hesitation.
Luca charged forward with the Starseeker, moving at lightning speed toward Devitt. Nova, without a second thought, fired her gun in his direction. Donlow, hidden in the shadows, moved swiftly, coordinating with Luca's assault.
