Not long after parting ways with Vanessa, Ivan appeared in the Gray Realm of the Ash Plane.
As he combed through his thoughts, adjusted his body, he also toured this broken world before him. After the Shadow of Annihilation was removed, the Gray Realm was indeed slowly improving, with patches of green beginning to appear on its gray land.
Such improvement surely wouldn't satisfy Vanessa's appetite.
