"Drunkard, Drunkard, are you there? Help, I beg you!" cried a frantic voice clad in white.
Interrupted so suddenly, the drunkard felt displeased.
The abrupt knocking startled Qing Yi as well; it brought a sense of salvation but also the same irritation of being disrupted.
Qing Yi suddenly wished the person in white had come later, even if just by a minute.
Nevertheless, upon hearing the call for help, Qing Yi had no time to think of such things.
He hurriedly got out of bed, rushed to the door, and opened it, only to see the person in white's clothes covered in blood and a look of panic on his face.
"What happened, what's the matter?"
If he remembered correctly, the person in white should be abroad right now.
"No time to explain, is the drunkard here? Is he in?"
