Jidenna blinked his bleary eyes, desperately trying to shake the sleepiness that had fallen on him.
As he blinked again, resisting the urge to yawn, he jerked back in shock, throwing his face to the side to dodge a speeding fist narrowly brushing against his cheek.
"Still sleeping, are ya?" The instructor glared down at Jidenna, but when Jidenna continued to stare at him blankly with those reddened eyes that spoke of exhaustion beyond belief, the instructor sighed and facepalmed.
"Well, take a break. It's no fun beating you up when you're that dead tired," he muttered, snapping his stiff neck.
He walked off to the side.
Even after being given a break, Jidenna, who would have normally shot up and hurriedly gulped down water, still stood motionless. His shoulders had a slouch to them that felt foreign to the instructor.
Like a machine, he waddled off to the side, his face still dull and unresponsive.
