Chapter 201 - Chapter 112 Strengthening the Base Form is the Real Deal (Part 2)

Mijorin was one of the most outstanding warriors of the North Area. In order to protect his home planet, he perished together with an extremely massive star. After his death, he caught his attention, which granted him the chance to train on Grand Kai's planet.

After training on Grand Kai's planet for so many years, Mijorin's strength had continuously increased. In his view, he was the perfect match to be Raditz's opponent, and their battle was bound to be extremely interesting.

As North Kai walked toward the arena—

The group moved forward in grand fashion. During this time, Olibu unknowingly drew closer to North Kai's back and walked side by side with Talot.

The exchange of glances between the two happened several times, making the atmosphere around them subtly tense.

Talot was scrutinizing Olibu, and Olibu was doing the same to him.

As for Salari, she was momentarily left out.

"You're no ordinary guy. I sensed your aura just now, it's strong," Olibu took the initiative to comment.

Upon hearing this, Talot gave a faint smile. "You're not bad either. Among all the opponents I've faced, you're probably ranked second."

Hearing Talot say this, Olibu was surprised.

He wasn't surprised about being ranked so highly by Talot, but rather because his own strength was considered top-tier across all of Grand Kai's planet. While he might not be the absolute strongest, there were very few who could rival him.

Furthermore, he was the absolute ace of the North Area faction. And now Talot was saying that his strength was only second among those he'd fought, then just how strong was the one ranked first?

Who was it? Was there really someone even more powerful than him?!

Countless thoughts emerged in his mind, and numerous emotions began to stir in his heart.

It wasn't until some time had passed that Olibu finally calmed down. With a slight smile, he said, "Only second place? Maybe you just don't understand my strength well enough."

Hearing Olibu's retort, Talot smiled without saying a word.

Olibu was confident, but it had to be said, Cooler's strength was likely greater than his.

Unless Olibu had truly hidden a massive amount of power that Talot simply couldn't sense.

Hearing the two converse, North Kai was secretly rejoicing inside.

The thing he most wanted to see had happened.

Olibu! North Kai had long wanted to introduce him to Talot. It was just that, due to not being allowed on Grand Kai's Planet and Olibu not being able to leave easily, it had been delayed until now.

Both were incredibly powerful warriors, especially since they were also connected by fate. Olibu had once been an Earthling warrior, but over a thousand years ago, he had come here to undergo harsh training.

Although Talot and the others were Saiyans, they were currently living on Earth.

In a sense, that made them half-locals.

They continued forward and arrived at the spacious arena.

Everyone's eyes were focused on Raditz and Mijorin.

After a moment of standoff, the battle commenced.

Raditz and Mijorin clashed in a flurry, their powerful attacks triggering bursts of shockwaves through the air.

To outside observers, the fight seemed fairly average. The two continuously switched between offense and defense, their strengths appearing evenly matched, maintaining a delicate balance where neither could gain the upper hand.

But was that really the case?

Definitely not!

Mijorin was testing Raditz, and Raditz was also testing Mijorin; neither had yet to unleash their full power.

'Bang!! Boom!!! Bang!!!...'

After exchanging several powerful blows, both Raditz and Mijorin were forced to retreat at the same time due to the impact of their clash.

The first round of probing was over, and neither launched another attack. Instead, they paused to analyze.

That brief exchange had given them both a rough understanding of each other's strength.

Raditz was thrilled. He had indeed never faced such a formidable opponent. In the past, he'd only sparred with Salari and Talot. This time, he finally had the chance to truly go all out and showcase his skills.

Mijorin's expression was serious. From that exchange, he had figured out Raditz's actual strength. Though still far beneath his own, it had nonetheless surprised him greatly.

"Warm-up's over. You'd better go all out now, because to defeat you, I only need to use one-tenth of my full power!" Mijorin's words were blunt.

That remark made Raditz burst into laughter. "If you think you can do it, then go ahead and try! Just don't end up getting easily beaten by me instead."

"Arrogant!"

"You're the arrogant one!"

The battle grew more intense.

This change did not escape the eyes of Olibu and Talot, who were watching from outside the arena.

"Looks like your partner is going to lose. Once Mijorin gets serious, it's hard to stop him," Olibu calmly warned.

He knew Mijorin's strength well. Even in a battle of this level, Mijorin was only using about a tenth of his power.

As for Raditz, it looked like he was already going all out.

In Olibu's view, the fact that Raditz could fight Mijorin to this extent was already quite impressive. But in the end, he was still a newcomer. Perhaps, after training on Grand Kai's Planet, he might be able to catch up in the future.

"Don't jump to conclusions so quickly. Raditz's strength is far greater than what you've seen so far, this is just the beginning," Talot said, arms crossed, showing no concern that Raditz might be defeated.

Hearing this, Olibu was puzzled. But then, a sudden flash of realization struck him, and he made a connection.

These three Saiyans weren't just alive, they were all personally acknowledged by North Kai as his disciples.

Among all of them, how many could truly be considered North Kai's disciples?

In other words, all three of these Saiyans were very likely to have received North Kai's true teachings.

"Could it be... he's grasped Kaio-ken?!" Olibu exclaimed in shock.

As he spoke, he looked toward North Kai.

Naturally, North Kai gave no reply, because he had no obligation to do so.

Even so, his silence still caused a stir in the hearts of the warriors watching. Though none of them had learned the Kaio-ken, they certainly knew it was North Kai's exclusive technique.

All along, they had been working hard to learn it too, but some techniques simply weren't meant for just anyone to learn.

No matter how solid your foundation was, it wouldn't necessarily be enough.

"You'll see for yourself, Olibu," Talot replied on North Kai's behalf.

After that, he said no more and continued watching Raditz's battle.

All the warriors became fully focused, eager to see with their own eyes whether this newcomer, Raditz, had truly learned Kaio-ken!
