Contemplating the state of the universes, Samuel Young dismissed the screens displaying information about the Trench Crusaders and Starship Troopers. His attention shifted to the holographic files on Alien and Red Alert 2 universes.

The Alien Universe
The Alien universe, under the reconnaissance and exploration efforts of Gary "Roach" Sanderson, centered around a human colony on a tropical planet.
Orbital drone imagery confirmed the planet's surface was dense with lush forests, dotted with oceans and freshwater lakes, with ice caps visible only in polar regions. The space gate, frontline base, and Weyland-Yutani atmospheric processing unit were located deep within the equatorial rainforest. The closest human city was situated 300 kilometers north on a plain.
Drones revealed numerous human settlements and villages scattered across the planet, estimating the colony's total population at around 4 million, possibly more. In near-orbit, several large space stations and orbital defense platforms equipped with tactical nuclear warheads were observed.
From these observations, Samuel determined that this colony was among the larger ones in the Alien universe. While humanity in this universe possessed interstellar travel technology and had fought multiple space wars, they lacked warp travel.
As depicted in Aliens, colonial marine warships required weeks or even months to reach their destinations. Consequently, cryogenic chambers were standard aboard military vessels, civilian colonization ships, and freighters. Samuel speculated that Alien spacecraft likely relied on antimatter engines for "warp-speed" travel and nuclear fusion engines for conventional propulsion, drawing parallels to Avatar, which shared the same director and similar technological concepts.
Given the lack of warp drives, Alien colonies typically had small populations. For instance, LV-426 had less than 200 residents despite over a decade of development. Thus, a colony of 4 million people represented a significant hub in this universe.
Despite gathering intelligence on the colony, Gary Roach Sanderson opted for a cautious approach. Instead of initiating unification efforts, he deployed elite investigators and leveraged Atlas's advanced AI to infiltrate the colony's capital to gather detailed intelligence.
Samuel concluded that the Alien universe could be integrated methodically. By the time formal unification began, a fleet composed of several Astartes companies would suffice to "sweep" the Alien universe's factions. With no urgent matters requiring intervention, Samuel skimmed through the relevant files and turned to Universe "One Six," corresponding to Red Alert 2.

The Red Alert 2 Universe
Universe "One Six" was personally overseen by John Price, the commander of the Joint Reconnaissance Force.
Orbital drone footage depicted the majority of the planet's regions draped in dark purple flags, with buildings and military uniforms adhering to the same theme. Only a few areas displayed red and blue flags.
From this, Samuel deduced that the timeline aligned with Yuri's Revenge. He swiftly edited a detailed report using his oversized mechanical keyboard and mouse, directing Atlas's Intelligence Division to forward it to Price.
Satisfied, Samuel closed all holographic files and redirected his attention to reviewing and approving the empire's various projects.
In Yuri's Revenge, Yuri himself possessed formidable psychic control abilities. However, the legion assisting the Joint Reconnaissance Force at the "One Six" frontline base was the First Company of the Thousand Sons.
The Thousand Sons were Astartes known for their exceptional psychic mastery. Additionally, their companies employed "Librarians," a unique position responsible for record-keeping, financial oversight, and curating knowledge, including the Codex Imperialis. While their duties resembled those of scholars, Librarians were highly skilled psykers. Though their psychic power was not on par with figures like Hera or Athena, their abilities, derived from Magnus and Samuel himself, allowed them unparalleled precision and ease in their use.
Thus, Samuel had no concerns about large-scale casualties in Red Alert 2. Once the Intelligence Division obtained Yuri's genetic modification technology and neutralized the risk of imperial soldiers being forcibly transformed into mind-controlled brutes, resistance would diminish significantly.

The Trench Crusaders Universe (One Three)
Near a human settlement outside the frontline base in Universe "One Three," thousands of emaciated residents ventured beyond the fortified walls into a foggy, toxic wasteland. Clad in ragged attire, these malnourished individuals scavenged battlefields for fallen soldiers' corpses and reusable materials, preventing demonic forces from using the dead to bolster their ranks.
Hell's demons had numerous methods to reanimate the dead, turning them into allies of the infernal faction. To counter this, the impoverished residents risked their lives entering the toxic no-man's-land to collect resources and deny demons access to corpses.
Meanwhile, two invisible figures moved against the flow, bypassing the scavengers and approaching the walled settlement. Through helmet communicators, they exchanged words:
"Commander, should we infiltrate directly?" asked a slender figure.
"Yes, straight in," confirmed the other.
From the perspective of an orbital drone, their friendly identification markers revealed them as operatives using optical camouflage for stealth. The commander, Mike Monadi, was a legendary investigator and close friend of Leon S. Kennedy. His partner was Laura Crawford, a recent recruit to the Intelligence Division.
Laura, born in 1985, was the daughter of Richard Crawford, a high-ranking official in Atlas's London division. Her family had been allied with Samuel since the mid-20th century, their influence in the UK earning them a place within Atlas's fold. Trained in Atlas's military academy, Laura joined the Intelligence Division at age 19, quickly earning a spot under Mike's experienced mentorship.
Equipped with fully enclosed combat suits and lightweight exoskeletons, the two infiltrators advanced toward the settlement gate. Despite the gate's defenses—trenches, machine gun emplacements, and towering walls bristling with weapons—their path was clear. Although the defenses lacked aerial protection, the Hell faction's flying demons relied on ground forces to assault human settlements.
At the gate, medieval and WWII-era styled human soldiers inspected residents entering and exiting. Four massive knights, clad in heavy armor and wielding giant shields and swords, stood vigilant.
Observing them, Mike frowned under his helmet. According to updated intelligence from the interrogation of Isabella de Carolis, the knights boasted physical and combat prowess surpassing normal humans. Samples from Isabella suggested these knights were comparable to genetically enhanced soldiers or operatives like themselves.
Mike decided against direct passage, suspecting the knights might detect them. Failure could compromise their mission to observe local life, promote the Codex Imperialis, and integrate the settlement into the human empire.
After a brief pause, Mike retrieved two metallic spheres resembling hover-scanners from his pouch and handed one to Laura. Marking a target location on his helmet display, he instructed, "Throw it hard."
"Yes, sir," Laura replied.
With precise coordination, they launched the spheres into a designated area. The projectiles lost their camouflage in mid-air but went unnoticed amidst the commotion near the gate. Upon impact, the spheres projected holograms of demons and heretics charging the gate, creating a convincing illusion.
Gunfire and chaos erupted as defenders opened fire, unaware of the ruse. Amid the distraction, Mike and Laura slipped past the gate, successfully infiltrating the settlement.
