Ybur took some time to deal with Celeste, then discussed with the finally calmed down Celeste.
"...I don't think the Lord of the Caverns would be careless enough to forget to impose constraints on us."
Ybur said, "His methods must be hidden."
"Punishment unknown, then awe immeasurable." Celeste said, "It seems this Demon God is a faithful believer in that concept."
Ybur worried for a moment and let out a light sigh.
If they could clearly know the methods imposed by the Lord of the Caverns, along with their boundaries and power, there'd be room to exploit the rules. But because nothing is known, they can only be on tenterhooks, cautiously guessing the true intentions of the Lord of the Caverns. This unknown is indeed much more terrifying than things in the open.
"What about our mission as spies?" Ybur asked, "You're the Enchanting Demon Queen now, so you should understand better than me, right?"
