Airone's POV
As soon as we arrived in the royal capital, we headed to the receiving hall. We arrived two days ago, but I decided to check the regions near the border of Aquavius and Windelm first.
Good thing that Lady Kassandra sends one of her elite soldiers, Alex Klauss. After Prince Lukas sent a letter the next day, they arrived in Aqua Illia.
They reported to Kassandra about King Idril's plans to invade our kingdom and force my mom to be his queen.
"Your Highness, are you sure I need to be here?" Alex whispered, looking around. "Palaces are really lavish and scary," he added. That made me laugh. "Relax, my mom was a beautiful and jolly queen, just like Her Majesty, Queen Avira."
"The queen is here!" her personal servant announces. We both bow our heads.
"Son!" Mom roars.
The next thing I felt was her warm embrace. My mom is 38 years old. She gave birth to me when she was 18, and my dad died because of an illness when I was 17 years old.
