Outside Atlas's office, Allen leaned against one of the cubicles stationed nearby, eyes flickering to the door as he checked his wristwatch.
"This is weird," he muttered. "What's taking them so long?"
It had been almost an hour since Zoren entered Atlas's office—far longer than his usual visits. Even Atlas never stayed that long in Zoren's office, unless the matter was really important.
"I wonder what the problem is?" he mumbled, tilting his head from side to side. But before his thoughts could go further, Benjamin's voice snapped him out of it.
"Hey!"
Allen flinched and turned, startled to find Benjamin already standing beside him. His brows rose the moment he saw the fire burning in Benjamin's eyes.
"What now? Who did you fight this time?" Allen asked quietly, glancing around the department before his gaze settled back on Benjamin. "Benjamin, if this is another rumor—"
