In the midst of this escalating turmoil, players were powerless to change the big picture, ultimately leading to two distinct directions:
The first direction was a combination of whales, both being Nine Dragon Body Refinement players who consumed similar amounts of elixir pills and had comparable combat strength.
With that being the case, there were no issues of deception or loss.
The only problem was that both Nine Dragon players had square-shaped bodies, which didn't look very aesthetically pleasing.
But when faced with two evils, one has to choose the lesser. Many players were single-mindedly focused on cultivation and had no interest in online relationships within the game. Under such circumstances, who cares if Tao Companions have square-shaped bodies? You'll get used to it after looking at it for a while.
It wasn't even strange for same-sex cultivators to become Tao Companions.
The second direction was clear-cut transactions, each taking what they needed.
