"That ain't good," I mumbled, looking at the castle wall that had just exploded.
"Can you see anything?" Sara asked worriedly.
"Hmm, there is too much smoke. Oh, it looks like someone sent Lucas through a wall." I said, surprised to see every little detail all through the smoke.
"Tch already, do you see Karl?"
"No, Ah, Karl was in Luca's arms with a sword stabbed into his shoulder. That was the fuck who attacked them." I asked, looking at her confused.
"There is only one person I can think of. Hendrian." Sara said, leaking some killing intent.
"It's not even the first day your parents left. Are you sure he would do something like that this fast?" I said, looking at her with a raised eyebrow.
"Our parents first. And I think it's because of the sword." She said, looking around to see away down.
"What sword?" I asked, tilting my head at her.
"I will explain later. Can you take us down there?" Sara said, pointing at the smoke.
"Ah, but the ice cream," I whined, looking at the two last tubs of ice cream we hadn't opened yet.
"Take them with you, then. I will sort out Hendrian." Sara said, sighing in annoyance.
"But shouldn't I help?" I asked, a bit worried, while picking up the tubs of ice cream.
"No, I don't think we will need your help for this," Sara said with a small smile.
"Hmm? Okay, but I will still stay there if I am needed." I said, nodding in agreement.
"Uh, thank you."
"Okay, you ready?" I said, grabbing her hand and teleporting away without waiting for a reply.
"Kyaa!"
"Haha, I even warned you this time."
"At least wait for a reply," Sara said, panting.
"Yeah, yeah, go and help your brothers," I said, waving her off before gesturing to Lucas and Karl on the ground, not even 5 meters away from us.
"Ours. Shit, Karl, are you okay?" Sara said, turning around and running towards the two on the ground.
"Ugh, Sara, how did you get here so fast?" Lucas asked, looking confused at her.
"I was with Ren on the roof. We saw the explosion from there. Forget that. Are you hurt?" Sara asked, starting to inspect Lucas.
"Oh, okay, I am fine, but Karl got stabbed in the shoulder."
"Was it Hendrain?"
"Yeah, sadly, just watch out. He is way stronger than last time," Lacus said worriedly.
"Tch, I don't care. I will just beat him up. Worse than last time." Sara said, leaking killing intent.
'Seeing the amount of killing intent she is giving off, she isn't weak... but whoever is coming here is stronger.' I thought, looking into the smoke.
"Oh, Sara, you already arrived. Great, I don't have to go look for you. Now tell me who took the sword that was rightfully mine." A man said, walking out of the smoke.
"Hendrian, what do you mean?" Sara said, glaring at the man.
'Hmm, so this, Hendrian. He is quite an eyesore in the looks department.' I thought, looking him over while I ate my ice cream.
Hendrian was a humanoid deer with blue skin. He was probably getting that from Uwe. He had green hair with dark brown eyes. His antlers were about 30 cm long. At the moment, he was wearing black, robe-like armour. With two swords on his waist while carrying one in his hand.
"Wait, isn't that the general's sword?" I mumbled, referring to the sword he had in his hand that looked a lot like the katana with which I used to kill the general.
"Oh, at least someone knows what this is. So Sara, was it you who took it?"
"The fuck do you mean, Hendrian? Why would I want another weapon? You already know I have my own. Not that it is even possible for me to have more than one." Sara said, lifting her hands a bit up and making daggers appear in her hands.
"Oh, those are quite cool," I said gleefully, looking at the cool-looking daggers in Sara's hands.
'Anyway, those swords—are they special or something? I mean, the general's one changed the moment I held it in my hand. Same as Sara just now.' I thought, looking at the sword in Hendrain's hands before looking back at Sara.
"Hah, do you think two little knives will help you?" Hendrian said, putting the katana on his waist before drawing the other two swords on his waist.
"Hendrian, you know how it works. Soul weapons are ten times stronger than normal ones."
"Of course, of course, isn't that common sense?"
'… the fuck is a soul weapon! Common sense? Fuck Leah, how is human common sense close to demons!' I shouted, mentally frustrated, while holding my cool-out words.
"Do you still want to go on with this?" Sara asked, narrowing her eyes at Hendrian.
"Tch, I wouldn't have done this if you guys didn't take the sword that was rightfully mine in the first place."
"Hendrian, as I said, we didn't take it. Before we retrieved it, it was already soul-bound to someone else." Lucas said, standing up carefully with Karl still in his hands.
"To who!"
"We don't know. I already explained this to you," Lucas said, frustrated.
"Bull shit! How is it possible that you don't know?"
"You will have to ask our parents for more information about that," Sara said, still holding her fighting stance.
'Hmm, if I understand this correctly, then that sword is bound to me right now.' I thought I was not moving from my position.
"You know what fucks them and fucks you. I will just kill everyone before they come back," Hendrian said, taking his own fighting stance.
'Oh, sh*t is going to hit the fan. Should I stop it? Nah, I want to see how Sara fights. She did say she was the second-strongest of all the siblings. However, I will get the other two out.' I thought, looking at Lucas and Karl on the ground.
"Ren, can you please take Lucas and Karl away from here?" Sara said, not taking her eyes off Hendrian.
"Like I will allow, where are they?" Hendrian said, confused, not seeing Lucas or Karl where they were.
"Well, I took them into the castle, of course. Oh, and Sara doesn't take a direct hit." I said, appearing at the previous spot and returning to the ice cream.
"What the fuck?"
"Thanks, Ren," Sara said before jumping into the shadows.
'Same as Lina." I thought with stars in my eyes.
Clung
Clung
The sound of weapons clashing brought me out of my thoughts.
"Hehe, did you really think that would work on me?" Hendrian said, blocking both of Sara's daggers. Who was halfway out of his shadow.
"Heh, that would have been boring, wouldn't it?"
'Hmm, she used that to get in close.' I thought, looking at the clashing blades.
Boom!
Suddenly, Hendrian threw a destructive ball out of one of the swords, making Sara jump back to dodge it.
"Smart move, making her give up on the close range. Now, what will Sara do?" I said, only to shake my head as she again jumped into her shadow.
"Dumb bitch."
"Hey, that's not nice, calling your sister a bitch." I said, just looking at Hendrain like he was an idiot.
"Shut up, brat."
'Guess I will have to teach him later.' I thought, just looking at him and looking around him the whole time.
After another few bouts between the two, I sigh, shaking my head. It was true that Sara was strong, but Hendrian was just faster.
"Sara, can I take over?" I said, looking at my shadow.
"I don't really want to leave it to you, but he is faster than me," Sara said, coming out of my shadow.
"Uh, don't feel too bad. Just think of it, relying on your big sister," I said, looking up at her.
"Okay, fine, just don't go too far."
"Haha, I can't handle me now. You're sending a brat, huh?" Hendrian said this before getting surprised.
"That is a big sister to you," I said, appearing in front of him and grabbing his face before throwing him into the ground.
"Ugh."
"Hmm, common, let this big sister teach you some family manners." I said, cracking my knuckles.
"Says the one that hogs all the food at the dinner table," Sara commented, sending an arrow through me.
"Ugh, I heard that, and I did apologize," I said, looking at Sara deadpan.
"You fucken brat, get off me. Do you know who I am?"
"The fuck are you trying to get around your name? I am also a royal. This is only internal fighting, so shut it." I said, stomping his face with my foot.
"Ugh, that fucken hurts."
"Well, it should hurt," I said, stepping off him and letting him stand up.
"Ugh, you stupid bitch, you shouldn't have let me go."
"Yeah, yeah, I don't care. Now listen to you, big sister." I said, glaring at him.
"Shut up, brat, and take this," Hendrian said, attacking me with one of his swords.
"Firstly, never call me a brat," I said with a lot of venom behind it while dodging his sword, tapping his wrist, and breaking it.
"Aagh, what the fuck?"
"Second, don't try to kill your family. It's not worth it." I said, breaking his other wrist. "
"Aagh!!"
"Thirdly, when wanting an answer to a question, don't think of violence as the best way to receive it," I said, picking up the katana from the ground and slowly drawing it out of its sheath.
"No way," Sara mumbled, surprised.
