She had wanted to say something else.
To thank them for being here despite everything. She wanted to tell them that she really appreciated what they had sacrificed, and she wanted to tell them in a nicer way that there was really no point in them being euchre now.
She had wanted to explain that while she had recovered, the doctors had done their best. That was the only way she would get her magic back fully was if Sakura paid attention to her. That all of this was now left in Sakura's hands.
Oh, how she had wanted to say a lot of things, and yet the words that came out of her mouth had been different. The complete opposite of what gratitude was meant to be like.
