Chapter 17: Bad Luck or Baby Love?

I laughed so hard I nearly fell—Jinye was sulking, actually sulking, because Yin cared more about his supposed "bad luck" son, Zhong, than him. Can you imagine the almighty CEO pouting like a jealous boyfriend? Hah!

Dong Mansion

We all walked into the mansion. Yin took little Zhong to a room and knelt before him like a queen tending her prince.

"I'll be staying with you tonight, okay baby?" she said sweetly, helping him out of his clothes and into a warm bath. The boy just nodded shyly like a tamed puppy. So adorable.

After she bathed and dressed him, she went to her room to change for the night.

Jinye's Room

Yin tiptoed in, thinking Jinye was fast asleep. She began undressing... completely naked, she headed to her wardrobe to pick something comfy. But before she could even turn, that scent—so familiar, so dangerous—wrapped around her like a storm.

Jinye hugged her from behind, lips grazing her neck. "I missed you," he whispered.

"I need to bathe and go back to Zhong," she mumbled, trying to pull away.

But Jinye? Oh no, he wasn't letting her go. His lips, his hands—he was like a starving man rediscovering life. And Yin? She gave in. Their lips crashed. He devoured her like he couldn't breathe without her. His fingers slid between her legs—she moaned.

She was ready. He was throbbing. She arched into his touch.

And then—

Knock knock.

Both froze.

"Aish, sibal!" Jinye growled in frustration.

"Baby? Is that you?" Yin called gently.

"Y-yes," came Zhong's meek voice.

Oh noooo.

"Can you give me twenty minutes, sweetie? I just want to talk to your daddy. I'll come soon," she said.

Poor Zhong stood outside, obedient and waiting.

Back inside, Jinye cursed under his breath, "That bad luck again."

Yin just giggled, took a quick bath, and dressed in a silky nightgown. Before leaving, she kissed Jinye's cheek. "Goodnight."

Zhong's Room

"You look pretty…" Zhong mumbled, cheeks as red as tomatoes.

"Awwn, thank you, baby," Yin said, bending down to kiss him softly on the lips.

My heart exploded from the cuteness.

She tucked him in. I could read minds (lucky me), and guess what this boy was thinking?

> "They said if someone kisses you on the lips, it means they love you. And she defends me too. That means… Miss Yin loves me! More than she loves Papa… right? She's kissed me more than him..."

Poor baby was so confused. But Yin? As if she heard his thoughts, she spooned him gently from behind, kissed his cheek, and whispered:

"I love you, Zhong. Sweet dreams."

Boy went scarlet. I'm telling you—this kid is in love.

The Next Morning

Yin brought him breakfast in bed. Fed him. Bathed him. Dressed him. He was glowing like a freshly polished gem. Downstairs, Jinye, the icy CEO himself, stepped out, looking like a Greek god. Yin? Oh, she wanted to jump on him, let's not lie, but she controlled herself.

She gave a simple, "Bye," and turned to Zhong.

Zhong kissed her cheek. Yin beamed.

"Aww, my baby! I love you so much!" she squealed and kissed him back.

Zhong turned crimson again.

Jinye scowled. "Why do you only kiss him?"

"Because he's my baby. I love him," Yin said with a wink.

Jinye sighed like a defeated man and walked off to his car.

Zhong climbed into his.
