Chapter 22 - 3

Up above the Earth, Vilgax's ship has a damaged bridge. And shockingly, the alien tyrant was shown to be still alive, but incredibly mutilated, having to be kept alive in a stasis tank.

"Oh, you've GOT to be kidding me! He's still alive after taking a huge blast like that!?" Jiro asked in disbelief.

"There species must have ABSURD durability, even beyond myself in my hero form. Or even All For One." All Might said in shock and horror.

"And how much you guys want a bet that tank he's in is like the ones in anime that can heal you back from almost anything?" Sero asked nervously.

"I doubt he'd be going through all this trouble if he knew he was still going to die." Shoji said.

"What do you mean it's not there? This battle nearly costs me my life! And you say the Omnitrix is no longer on board the transport?" The tyrant demanded.

"Sensors indicate a probe was jettisoned from the ship, just before boarding. It landed on the planet below." The robotic lieutenant explained.

The tyrant then looked to another nearby bioid behind him. "Go. Bring it to me." He ordered. The bioid, enshrouded in darkness, walked off.

"Oh, crap! They're gonna come after Ben now!" Mineta cried out in fear.

"I doubt he'll be very happy when he finds out someone is already wearing the Onitrix." Kaminari said, equally concerned.

"Kaminari. OMNITRIX." Yaoyorozu corrected him like Iida had before.

"Does it matter!? We know what the hell they're after and it's stuck on the kid's wrist! Or part of him forever as that fire thing!" Bakugo snapped.

"Somehow, I doubt that, Kacchan." Uraraka said. "Otherwise, this wouldn't be called 'Ben 10'. It'd probably be called 'Fire Force' or something." She pointed out.

The trio were sat down, eating marshmallows by the fire, Ben finally having explained to Max. "And you say that this watch 'just jumped up and clamped onto your wrist'?" The grandfather questioned.

The boy-turned-monster caught a marshmallow that Gwen threw to him. "Hey, this time it wasn't my fault," He insisted, popping the treat into his mouth. "I swear!" He promised, marshmallow comically stuck in his mouth.

"It is your fault for touching something that wasn't yours that you didn't know what it was!" Iida scolded.

"Man, you're not letting that go, are you?" Sero asked.

"It's one of the first rules children are taught! He should know better!" Iida snapped.

"I believe you, Ben." Max assured his grandson.

"Think he's gonna stay a monster forever?" Gwen asked.

"He's not a monster. He's an alien." The elder declared, to which his grandchildren stared at him inquisitively. "I-I mean, look at him. What else could he be?" He said quickly to make it seem like his exclamation was a mere assumption.

"Dun dun DUUUNNN!" The Bakusquad, minus Bakugo himself, all declared.

"This is so cool!" Hagakure said in amazement.

However, the more analytic of the group couldn't help but realize something. "Hang on a minute... How does HE know Ben's an alien?" Bakugo asked.

"I mean, it's like he said, what else could he be?" Koda asked.

"Well, WE know he's an alien because we saw the Omnitrix come from space. But he didn't see that like we did. So, for him to just go for alien seems strange." Midnight pointed out.

"That is true. Gwen's guess of him simply being a monster at first seems more plausible, or even a sudden mutation. Both of those would make more sense as a GUESS than alien." Yaoyorozu said.

"Which means the grandfather knows more than he lets on." Todoroki added.

Present Mic then noticed one of the cards in his hands lit up, giving more for him to broadcast. "Heatblast! An alien known as a Pyronite. With a body made of charcoal and pure plasma energy, he can manipulate fire, smoke and plasma, even to the point of making fire spears and disks." The radio host hero announced.

"So THAT'S what that heat beam is. Plasma. Wow." Ashido said in amazement. "That's so cool! He's even better than you, Todoroki!" She added excitedly.

"Mina!" Kirishima scolded her.

"No. It's fine. She's not wrong. I am lacking in comparison to Heatblast... So I'll just have to go Plus Ultra." He declared, the students cheering.

"Yeah, I don't wanna be 'fire guy' forever. How am I supposed to play Little League this fall if I charcoal the ball every time I catch a pop fly?" Ben questioned worriedly.

"This kid has terrible priorities." Asui said.

"I-I mean, to be fair, that is one of the most important things to a kid. If this happened to me, I'd be scared I'd never be able to play with my All Might action figures." Midoriya admitted with a blush.

"Don't worry, Ben. We'll figure this thing out." Max promised his descendant.

Just then, the Omnitrix on Heatblast's chest beeped red 5 times, then let out a blinding red light towards Max and Gwen.

"Oh, great. What else could happen now?!" Uraraka asked in exasperation, concerned for the boy.

"Uraraka, you never say that! It's alien tech! ANYTHING could happen!" Ashido scolded her, also concerned for the boy.

"Calm down now, kids. Let's be rational. To me, that sounded like a timer going off. Which could mean..." All Might began as the red light faded.

When they opened their eyes, Ben was standing in front of them, human and all. Ben looked at himself, quickly becoming elated. "Hah! I'm me again!" He cheered happily.

Many of the students were relieved to see the boy back in his normal form. "Thank goodness. And it doesn't look like there's any lasting effects or mutations." Yaoyorozu said happily.

"But that just means he can mess with it again." Aizawa said.

"He wouldn't be that foolish... Would he?" Aoyama asked.

"Well, he DID go into a crater of something that almost squashed him and grab a weird alien watch. So there's a good chance." Ojiro said.

"But look. The watch is red instead of green. So, maybe it has some kind of cool down before it can transform him again." Midoriya observed.

Everyone looked closely and saw what the Broccoli boy's words were true. "So, it is. Excellent observation, Young Midoriya!" All Might praised his successor.

"Aw, too bad. I liked you better when you were a briquette." Gwen teased.

"You'd miss him setting your foot on fire whenever you made him mad?" Jiro questioned.

"Or he'd set the RV on fire as soon as he stepped inside." Kaminari added.

With everything back as closely to normal as they could be, Ben went back to trying to rip off the Omnitrix. "I still can't get this thing off." He complained.

"What is wrong with you, child?! Why would you immediately start toying with that device again after what just happened?!" Iida was quick to scold the boy AGAIN.

"I mean, can you blame him? He wants the scary alien watch off his arm. I'd be doing anything short of chopping my hand off." Mineta said.

"I say do it, anyway. They probably got prosthetics." Bakugo said.

"Katsuki! He's a kid!" Uraraka scolded her boyfriend in horror.

"Better not fool with it anymore until we know exactly what we're dealing with." Max advised. "I'll go check out that crash site. You guys stay here until I get back." He instructed, before heading off.

"What is checking out the crash site gonna do? He'll just see an empty pod. What will that tell him?" Kirishima asked.

"Maybe there's some kind of note or manual Ben didn't notice?" Koda suggested.

"Any extra information could help, students. Information gathering is a huge part of being a hero." Midnight told them.

A pod shot from the alien tyrant's ship above orbit, landing deep in the woods, next to the Omnitrix's pod. The pod then opened up, revealing itself as a gigantic Mechadroid.

"Holy crap! It didn't look anywhere near that big on the ship!" Mineta cried out in fear.

"It was likely the angle we had giving us a false perspective. Tokoyami suggested.

"Who cares?! That's a giant UNIT coming after Ben!"Dark Shadow exclaimed.

"They need to get out of there! FAST!" Asui said worriedly.

it scanned and promptly disintegrated the pod in the crash site and ejected smaller flying Mechadroids from its shoulders to go find the watch.

"Well, so much for that manual idea, Koda." Sato said, causing the rock-like boy to shrink in his seat.

"But what purpose does destroying the pod serve?" Shoji asked.

"My first guess would be to not raise suspicions if a local lifeform stumbled upon the crash site, which would reveal aliens are among them and put them on high alert. The second option would be to deceive any possible recovery squad from the ship carrying the Omnitrix to make them believe the device was destroyed." Iida teorized.

But then, their jaws dropped when the drones were deployed. "Oh, come on! That's just not fair!" Kaminari complained.

"Still, deploying small, flying drones to cover more ground far less conspicuously is an excellent idea. The only thing more effective would be Ragdoll's Search Quirk." Midnight said, before all the heroes had to pause and take a moment of sadness when they remembered their comrade's Quirk was seemingly forever lost to her.

Ben was fiddling with the Omnitrix once again. "Hmm... I wonder what this does." He asked, continuing to press and prod around the device.

"Benjamin Tennyson! You were SPECIFICALLY instructed not to tamper with the Omnitrix until your grandfather returned!" Iida scolded the boy YET AGAIN, while once again chopping so fast, his arms looked like flesh-colored walls.

"He's ten, what do you expect? No normal ten year old listens to their parents. That's when the rebellious stage starts and they do what they want!" Ashido said, remembering all the shenanigans she got into as a child.

"But most ten-year-olds don't have a device that can turn them into a walking fire hazard. This is exactly why the kid SHOULDN'T have that thing." Aizawa sighed.

"Maybe they should get a cone for his wrist, like the ones they put over dog's heads so they can't chew themselves." Sero suggested.

"Ooh, that's not a bad idea! And maybe, it would stop the center thingie from popping up so he can't push it back down. I mean, that's how he transformed the first time, right?" Hagakure agreed.

"In theory, but preventing the faceplate from popping up could possibly damage some internals of the device, in a similar way that you could damage your PS4 by trying to push the disk in or hold it so it can't be pulled in instead of simply allowing the system to pull the disk in itself." Yaoyorozu explained.

"Wait a minute... You're a gamer, Yaomomo?!" Ashido asked excitedly, the girls that were interested in gaming all immediately thinking of potential gamer parties as Yaoyorozu blushed at revealing her secret hobby.

Gwen leapt out from Behind Ben, surprising him. "Caught ya!" She declared, laughing at his startled reaction.

Ben mockingly mimicked his cousin's laughter. "Very funny. Like your face." He insulted her as he continued to mess with the watch.

"Lame comeback." Hagakure, Jiro, Mineta, Sato, Asui and the Bakusquad all said together.

"Grandpa said not to mess with that thing." She reminded him.

"Yeah? So, what's your point?" Ben asked dismissively.

"Did your parents drop you when you were a baby?" She demanded incredulously as Ben was BITING at the faceplate.

"You know, that's DEFINITELY starting to seem like a possibility." Jiro agreed with Gwen.

"I mean... I want to give him the benefit of the doubt here... but I REALLY have no idea what he's thinking right now." Uraraka admitted.

"I'm wondering if he's still trying to take it off or figure out how to transform again." Present Mic wondered.

"Well, in the event they can't get it off, it's probably best for him to understand how to use it." Midoriya said.

"Maybe, but they should wait until their grandfather comes back to help handle the situation, in case he turns into some kind of acid monster or a living lightning bolt." Midnight said.

He then looked to her. "Come on. You can't tell me you aren't a little bit curious what else this thing can do?" He questioned his cousin.

"I AM!" Ashido and Hagakure cried out in excitement at the same time.

"DEFINITELY NOT!" Iida and Yaoyorozu shouted.

"Oh, bullshit! If the name 'Ben 10' is anything to go by, there's at least 9 more of those suckers in that damn watch. You're telling me you don't want to know what they are? That's the biggest load of shit I've ever heard!" Bakugo called the class reps out.

"W-well, I admit, I am rather curious..." Yaoyorozu admitted.

"We all want to see what it can do. But a ten-year-old shouldn't be the one doing it." Iida said.

"Man, you guys are REALLY hung up on that part, aren't ya?" Maverick asked.

"Not in the least." Gwen denied, turning her head away.

"You sure you're related to me?" Ben asked.

"Seriously, how can she be ten and be such a stick in the mud?" Mineta asked.

"It's called being responsible. Something I don't think you've heard of before." Asui said with her usual bluntness.

Max observed the crash site. "I don't like this one little bit." He said to himself, picking up a piece of metal debris.

"Again, not even questioning what it is or where it came from." Aizawa said suspiciously.

"Indeed. It's clear that this Max Tennyson knows more than what he lets on." All Might agreed.

Ashido gasped. "What if HE'S an alien secretly sent here as a spy!?" She guessed.

"That would explain his gross-o taste in food." Hagakure said.

"L-l-let's not jump to conclusions here! He mentioned his choice in food are delicacies in some countries, maybe he's just a world traveler who's heard a lot of folktales about aliens!" Midoriya said, wanting to give the man the benefit of the doubt.

Back at the campsite, Ben was still talking with Gwen. "Look. If I can figure this thing out, maybe I can help people. I mean, really help them. Not just, you know, make things worse." He told her.

"Heck yeah, Ben! That's the way to do it! Be manly, do the right thing and help people!" Kirishima cheered.

"But he should only do that after he's had training so he knows what he's doing and gotten a hero license. Without it, he'd just be running around as a vigilante." Asui said.

"Uh, did you forget the fact there's no Quirks in this world, so there ARE no heroes, so there's no hero SCHOOLS?" Maverick reminded her.

"Still, he should have something that gives him permission to do this. Otherwise, what gives him authority to run in and fight villains. Why should he be free to run around doing hero work when we need licenses. It's not fair." Asui said, firmly believing in the black and white beliefs she had learned from society.

Anemone then slithered towards the frog girl. "I understand this is what you learned is right and wrong, Tsu... May I call you that?" She asked, getting a nod from the heroine-in-training. "But there are flaws to this way of thinking that could lead to serious loss of life down the line if that holds someone back from acting when someone needs help." She told the girl.

Gwen finally softened up a bit as she thought of something. "So, what did it feel like going all alien like that?" She asked.

"It freaked me out at first. It was like I was me, but it was also like I was somebody else-" He explained.

Tokoyami shivered at this. "I can understand that feeling all too well. Dark Shadow is a part of me, I feel normal when I use him, but it's also like there's a second presence within me. And, should the darkness become too great and Dark Shadow takes over, it sometimes feels as though I lose myself to that other presence." He admitted.

"Hey, I said I was sorry! Besides, I feel the same way, too! Like I'm myself, but also part of you, not a real person." Dark Shadow said defensively.

"Aww, don't worry, guys! We love you both just how you are!" Ashido told them.

"Still, that has to be a haunting experience, feeling like you're not yourself in your own body. That might be a bit much for a ten-year-old to deal with." Midnight said in concern.

The faceplate then sprang up like before. "Hey, I think I figured out how I did it. Should I try it again? Just once?" He asked, turning the dial with new silhouettes appearing: a flying insectoid creature, a raptor-like dinosaur and finally some unidentifiable quadrupedal creature.

"NO!" Aizawa, Iida, Yaoyorozu and Asui all shouted at once.

"YES!" The Bakusquad, plus Sato, Uraraka and Mineta cheered.

"I wouldn't." She advised him.

"No duh, you wouldn't." Ben teased, slamming down the dial.

The veins of Ben's arm began to swell massively as the Omnitrix sank into the arm, the bulging veins continuing until they reached his closed eye, which he opened to reveal a blank orange eye. Orange fur then began to sprout all over his body, Ben turning to reveal his hands now had claws and his mouth was growing, teeth morphing into fangs. The transformation was complete as Ben was now an eye-less canine creature that seemed to have gills on its neck. The creature then held out his hand as the claws upon his hands extended, before he slammed them down into the ground, rearing his head back and roaring tenaciously.

"Whoa! That thing's a total beast!" Kaminari said in awe.

"It's ghastly! Absolutely not dazzling at all!" Aoyama exclaimed in horror.

"It looks... kind of like a dog." Koda said, smiling a little bit.

"But... It has no eyes? Could something have gone wrong with the transformation? Or is this actually how it's supposed to be?" Yaoyorozu wondered.

"And what's with the gills? Can it breathe underwater, too, or something?" Sato wondered.

Gwen looked at Wildmutt, who was currently drooling from the mouth. "Ew! This thing's even uglier than you are normally! Hah, wow, put a flea collar on this mutt!" She taunted her monstrous cousin. Wildmutt roared at this.

"I know you explained why they have beef and everything, but jeez. Ben hasn't even been THAT mean to her since the forest fire." Hagakure said.

"The one where he set her foot on fire, ON PURPOSE? I think she's got the right to be a little mean." Jiro countered.

"They're kids. They hold petty grudges. They once didn't speak for two months because of an argument over a stick of gum." Anemone explained.

"These kids NEED an intervention." All Might said.

"And no eyes? What good is this one? It can't see!" She questioned. She then noticed the marshmallow stick in her hand and smiled with an idea in mind. Gwen silently moved behind Wildmutt, blowing on her hands and winding up her stick, getting ready to hit him with it.

"Okay, THAT might be a bit much!" Ashido said.

"You're hitting something that can't even see you! That's messed up!" Ojiro agreed.

"It can't see, but I bet it can feel, so once you hit him, he's probably gonna maul you!" Mineta cried out worriedly.

"It's a giant gorilla dog! The stick's just gonna break and he probably won't even feel it!" Bakugo scoffed.

Before she could, however, Wildmutt's "gills" on his necked open up, a pinging radar-like sound was heard as he was able to see Gwen's red silhouette winding up to strike him. Wildmutt dodged her swing by jumping onto the top of the RV, causing Gwen to twist her body too much and wipe out, to which the beast smiled smugly.

"Whoa! It can see like The Predator with those gills!" Kaminari said in awe.

"And that is quite impressive agility for a rather bulky creature." Iida added, impressed.

"Wildmutt! A Vulpimancer! Despite having no eyes, this alien has SUPREMELY enhanced senses of hearing and smelling like a dog, as well as the ability to 'see' with a 3D mapping of an area like a thermograph! He also has greatly enhanced strength and agility, which pairs great with those sharp claws that can help scale just about anything!" Present Mic announced like he had for

"So this guy is the balance of speed and power, with agility and super senses thrown in. This would make him ideal as a Rescue Hero, being able to use his senses to find people and get them out from under debris if they're buried, since he'd also be great at digging with those claws of his." Midoriya analyzed.

"Well, let's hope those claws can tear through metal, because that's probably the one he'll have to fight the drones with." Shoji said.

"Okay. So maybe it's not a total loser." Gwen admitted as Wildmutt jumped back down in front of her, slobbering. "Ew, two words: 'breath', 'mints'." She told him, to which Wildmutt retaliated by kicking dirt at her.

A few students laughed at this. "Okay, she kind of deserved that." Hagakure giggled.

"It also proves the kid's too immature for hero work if he retaliates like that over the tiniest insults." Aizawa groaned for the umpteenth time.

Ben then leapt/ran away into the forest. "Get back here! Ben! I'm gonna tell Grandpa that you turned into some freaky-animal-monster-thing and went swinging around the forest when he told you not to!" Gwen snapped.

"No, Ben! Wait! Stay at the camp! There's robots after you out there!" Uraraka cried out.

"Honestly, that would probably make him want to go more, so he could do superhero stuff." Todoroki said.

"Without a license again." Asui threw in.

"So, is self-defense just not a thing? Or can you not use your Quirk for that? What, did that chick who put a forcefield around herself after the sludge villain attacked her get arrested for illegal Quirk use?" Maverick criticized their rules against Quirk use.

"I'm surprised you all didn't pay attention to what she just said." Ashido said.

"Right? I bet that was a sentence she never expected to say." Jiro agreed.

She then realized what she just said. "-Oh, this is a majorly weird day." She said.

The students all laughed at this. "Called it!" The acidic and audio girls said together.

Wildmutt was swinging through the forest from tree to tree. He eventually came to a stop, when suddenly, the alien was seen through the scanners of one of the smaller Mechadroids.

"Crap! They found him already!" Kirishima cursed.

"Well, we saw how he can handle a natural disaster, but that was with his grandpa's help. Let's see how he does in combat, on his own." Midnight said.

"At least this is a more straightforward situation." Ojiro said.

Wildmutt sensed something was wrong and opened up his "gills", before leaping to safety as a laser was fired upon him. He leapt to other trees, evading the pursuing Mechadroid's lasers. Eventually, the robot came to a stop and looked around, unable to find the Vulpimancer, eventually moving on, which revealed Wildmutt on a tree behind the robot.

"Alright, he's smart enough to know to stay out of sight. And to lose a pursuer. Not bad." Aizawa said.

"But what will he do now? That's the million dollar question!" Present Mic declared.

The alien then began to scale the tree. The robot moved out of the forest into an open area to scan again, before Wildmutt leapt out from the trees and pounced on top of the robot. It spun in a circle to remove the beast on top of it, while also firing its laser, which brought down some trees, before the Vulpimancer then bit down on and ripped off the arm containing the laser.

The students couldn't help but jump a bit when Wildmutt pounced on the robot. "Whoa! He came out of nowhere!" Mineta shrieked.

"That's it, Wildmutt! Send that thing to the scrap heap!" Koda cried out, surprising his classmates with his outburst. "I... I like this one..." He admitted bashfully.

"Strong enough to bite through metal. This alien is certainly proving versatile." Yaoyorozu praised.

The droid then began to fly around recklessly, slamming into a tree, sandwiching Wildmutt between itself and the tree, before speeding off into the forest, causing several branches to hit the blind beast. But eventually, the Vulpimancer grabbed and ripped off the head. This blinded the robot, but didn't stop it. To make matters worse, the Omnitrix began to beep, indicating Ben would turn back soon.

"Oh, no! The countdown!" Ashido cried out worriedly.

"That's got to be the worst time to transform back!" Sero said, equally concerned.

"Time limits on your powers are always a pain in the ass." All Might grumbled.

To make matters EVEN WORSE, the robot was heading straight for the side of the cliff. So Wildmutt's survival was now in jeopardy, but it he turned back into Ben, there would be NO WAY he'd survive the collision with the cliff.

"OH, COME ON!" The students all complained.

"Things can always go from bad to worse when fighting villains. It's an important lesson to learn early on." Present Mic told them.

"So, you need to learn how to get out of sticky situations like this. So, what will you do now, Tennyson?" Iida wondered.

Thankfully, Wildmutt leapt off at the last minute before the Mechadroid crashed into the cliff and exploded, landing in a soft bushel of leaves. At which point, the red light flashed and the Vulpimancer was transformed back into Ben. The boy looked at the crash, before pulling his back in elation. "Yes!" He declared triumphantly.

"Thank goodness." Midoriya sighed.

"Yeah! Alright, Ben! You handled those robots easy! He would've slayed at the entrance exam!" Kirishima cheered.

"Ha! No way he would've gotten more than me!" Bakugo boasted.

"I'll admit... For his first battle, he didn't do to bad." Aizawa said.

However, this triumph was short-lived, as a second Mechadroid arrived, looking down at him. "Oh, not good..." He said fearfully.

"NO!" The entire audience, minus the hosts, all cried out in concern for the boy.

But, then As the Mechadroid had Ben in its sights, Gwen suddenly appeared and smacked it to the ground with a shovel. "Ugh! Back off Sparky! No flying tree-trimmer is going to hurt my cousin!" She declared, before she angrily bludgeoned the Mechadroid repeatedly.

"Whoa! She took down and alien robot with a shovel! That's crazy!" Sato said, amazed.

"Aww, yeah! You go, Gwen! Girl power!" Ashido cheered.

"Are we sure there are no Quirks and that she doesn't have one? How else would a ten year old girl do THAT?" Todoroki asked.

There was a green flash signaling an information update in the cards held by the blonde teacher. "Gwendolyn Tennyson! She may only be ten years old, but she's a genius with top marks in all her classes, with a number of useful extracurricular activities, including Jujitsu!" Present Mic declared.

"This is another reason we decided to show you this. Your society as a whole tends to look down on those without powers." Anemone began, addressing the crowd as a whole. "Some more than others." She added in a dangerous tone as her cobra hood flared out more when she looked at Bakugo, the boy instantly knowing where she was getting at. "So, you'll see throughout Ben's adventures with his family that you can be a hero without powers, just as long as you have skill." She declared.

"She has a point. Unless I'm making something like a cannon or ranged weapon, my Quirk would be rather useless in combat if I weren't trained in martial arts." Yaoyorozu admitted.

"Yeah. And my tail is strong, but I still need the skill to use it right." Ojiro agreed.

"And even you rely on martial arts, Aizawa, since with your power, it's basically like two Quirkless people fighting. Maybe we should add some martial arts classes at UA." Midnight suggested.

"Never thought I'd say this, but am I glad to see you." Ben said in relief. However, the Mechadroid started sparking, forcing Ben and Gwen to run away before it exploded.

"Yeah, nice you're getting along and all, but probably best to save it for when you're not in danger." Uraraka said, everyone nodding in agreement.

The trio of Tennysons were sitting in the RV. "I was worried that you might get popular with that thing on your wrist. That's why I asked you not to fool around with it until we know what the heck it is." Max scolded his grandson.

"Exactly! Messing with things you don't understand only leads to trouble!" Iida declared.

"I want to agree with you, Iida, but in this case... It might actually be a good thing. If he hadn't figured out how to use it before the drones showed up, they probably would've killed Ben AND Gwen." Asui admitted.

"And the squid guy would be able to get the most dangerous weapon ever!" Mineta said fearfully.

"Sorry, Grandpa... But at least I figured out how to make it work. All you do is press this button. Then, when the ring pops up, just twist it until you see the guy you wanna be. Slam it down, and bammo! You're one of ten super-cool alien dudes!" Ben explained, excitedly giving the instructions to enable his transformations.

The card flashed in the radio hero's hands and that was his cue. "The Omnitrix! An alien device containing the DNA of multiple different alien species! Once in proximity to a living sentient creature, it leaps out and latches onto their body, merging with the user's DNA, becoming a part of them and impossible to remove without specialized alien equipment! It allows the user to transform into any of the aliens whose DNA is inside the device!" Present Mic announced.

"Merged with his DNA?! So that basically means that it's not simply putting his mind in the creature's body somehow, but it is LITERALLY transfiguring his DNA to change him into those aliens! Our modern tech can't even BEGIN To compare to that!" Yaoyorozu exclaimed in shock.

"And it can give him even more aliens?! That's so awesome! Hey, he's from a different universe than us, without Quirks, so would that make us aliens? I wonder if it could scan us and let him turn into us?" Kirishima wondered in awe, wanting to see a power similar to his own.

"I doubt it. We're still humans on a molecular and genetic level, we just have an extra gene that gives us our Quirks. Other than that, we're normal people, so since it has a sample of human DNA from Ben, I doubt it would bother collecting more." Midoriya said, causing several students excited by that possibility to deflate.

Aizawa simply groaned. "I'm just focused on the fact they can't take it off. Meaning this kid's just gonna keep running around with an alien superweapon on his arm." The narcoleptic teacher complained.

"It's not ideal, true. But we've seen that Young Ben's heart is in the right place. So I believe we should trust that he may make the right decisions." All Might said.

"What about staying a super-cool alien dude and not transforming back into plain old pizza-face?" Gwen questioned harshly.

Ben's excitement quickly faded at this point. "I- kinda haven't figured that part out yet." The boy admitted.

"Yeah, that could be unpleasant. Wildmutt's impressive, but I wouldn't want to be stuck as him." Todoroki said.

"With a device as powerful as that watch clamped on you, my guess is we better help you learn, fast." Max declared.

"All right!" Ben cheered.

"Oh, great..." Iida groaned.

"Would you prefer if he turned into Heatblast tossing and turning in bed and burned down their campsite?" Uraraka asked. That was pretty much checkmate for Ben's naysayers.

Suddenly, a man's voice came over the radio. "Mayday! Mayday! Somebody help us! We're under attack by some sort of - I know you're not going to believe me, but… robot!" The Forest Ranger called out for anyone who could help.

"Oh, crap! We forgot about the big one!" Sato realized.

"He did pretty good against the small ones, but I don't know if Wildmutt can handle the big one." Kaminari said worriedly.

"Heatblast could probably melt it into a puddle." Bakugo said, wanting to see more of the fire alien.

"Don't forget, there's eight others we haven't seen yet. One of them could be even more useful." Shoji pointed out.

"Yeah! I want more aliens! I wanna see all ten!" Ashido cheered.

"I doubt he used all ten in his first outing." Yaoyorozu said.

"Sounds just like those things that attacked me. Must be looking for the watch. Those people are in trouble because of me! I think I can help them." Ben insisted.

"Er, you? What are you gonna do about it, Tennyson?" Gwen questioned, to which Ben looked down at the Omnitrix.

Ben, Gwen and Max all go into the woods for Ben's transformation. The Omnitrix beeped and lit up in standby. Ben looked to Max, who nods in approval.

"Let's go, Ben! You got this!" Hagakure cheered.

"But he doesn't have a license, he's being a vigilante and breaking the law." Asui pointed out again.

Maverick groaned at this. "Okay, scenario. A cruise ship just crashed and you are on the ONLY nearby boat for MILES. You are the only person that can save these people from drowning. But YOU don't have a hero license either. So, are you just gonna let them die?" The mantis man questioned.

The frog girl paused at this. Sure, she believed in the laws society had made, but could she really sit there and say she wouldn't help those people just because she didn't have a piece of plastic. It hit especially hard after remembering what that boy had said before they started watching Ben's exploits.

Ben smiled back at this, before he primed the dial of the Omnitrix. "Yeah." He declared, starting to turn the dial. "Eenie, meenie, miney…" He began, skipping over the ones of a ghost-like figure and the insectoid being stopping on a tall, bulky and spiky humanoid figure.

"No way... Was that a ghost!?" Mineta asked in disbelief and horror.

"Revelry in the dark." Tokoyami said in awe.

"I wanna see that one! I wanna see it now!" Dark Shadow said excitedly.

"I do hope it's a while before we see that bug-like alien, however." Aoyama said, already unnerved just by the silhouette.

"Oh, come on! I be that's going to be the most alien-looking out of all of them!" Ashido said, now eager to see the insect alien.

"Here goes!" The boy declared, before pressing in the Omnitrix, entering the void and beginning to transform. Bluish-green crystals began to sprout from the Omnitrix before it sank into Ben's arm, the boy extending said arm as the crystal overtook the limb, before continuing to cover him like a suit of armor, covering his head, until only his eye was visible, which became a solid yellow eye. He now stood tall as a muscular, rigid creature made of crystals, with a pair of spikes emerging from his back.

"Whoa! It's like he's made of diamonds!" Uraraka said with stars in her eyes.

"Something tells me this guy's the tank among the aliens." Jiro said, equally awed by the alien.

"He's just like me! This is gonna be awesome!" Kirishima cheered.

"So what can this guy do?" Gwen asked.

"I don't know," The figure admitted in a deep voice, his crystals clanking together at every movement. "but I bet it's gonna be cool." He declared as he looked down at his hand, before clenching it into a fist.

"You got this Ben! Time to do some recycling!" Kaminari declared.

"It looks strong, but is it strong enough to break through a giant robot?" Midnight asked.

"Or tough enough to take whatever the robot can throw at it? We've all played Pokemon. We know Steel beats Rock." Present Mic added.

"All we can do now is put our faith in Ben." Midoriya said sincerely, putting all of his hope that this ten year old transformed into a living diamond could save those people.

The trio arrived to see the gigantic Mechadroid attacking a campsite, firing lasers to obliterate several RVs as the people ran, screaming.

"Of course, it has lasers! LOVELY!" Sato complained.

"That makes things a whole lot worse." Koda said, worried for the people.

"Actually... It's possible this might be useful." Yaoyorozu said, already theorizing something.

"Looks like papa-robot this time." The crystalline creature said, before turning to Max. "I'll get Gearhead's attention, you guys get the campers to safety." He devised a plan, Max nodding and waving for Gwen to follow, the two running off, while the alien's eyes glowed.

"Smart. Have someone coordinating and guiding the citizens to safety while the most capable of combat fights the robot." Aizawa said, approving of the boy's game plan, even if it was rather obvious.

"Show them what the hardening heroes can do, Ben!" Kirishima continued to cheer as if the boy could hear him.

The robot made its way through the rows of RVs, looking at the people as they fled, before its eyes fell upon someone. A park ranger ran up to a woman sitting on the ground to help her to safety. But this act of heroism deemed him as a target for the robot, which grabbed him.

"Oh, no! The ranger!" Midoriya cried out.

"Hey! You leave him alone!" Ashido shouted.

"Why would it grab him, though?" Kaminari asked.

"Well, theory one is that it's checking everyone in case they have the Omnitrix. It is a small device, after all. Anyone could potentially hide it if they DID have it. Theory two, it's ensuring there are no witnesses to its rampage." All Might said with a scowl.

"Leave him alone!" The alien ordered, gaining the robot's attention, stood with his hands on his hips. "You want somebody to pick on? Try me." He declared as the robot scanned him and saw the Omnitrix.

The robot dropped the Park Ranger and blasted Diamondhead away. He landed in an RV, which the robot also immediately blew up.

"Ben!" The students cried out.

"Kid's gotta get better at anticipating and reacting to his enemy's moves." Aizawa criticized.

"S-still, there's no way he's done yet, right?" Mineta asked worriedly, before steeling his resolve. "Come on, Ben! Get up!" He cheered for the boy before him.

"That alien's GOTTA be tough. No way it goes down yet! Send that damn robot to the scrap heap!" Bakugo shouted.

It seemed like the hero was finished, obliterated with his remains trapped under the rubble of the RV. But then, a diamond-like spike pierced out from under the wreckage, slicing forward enough for the alien to pull himself out, revealing he had transformed his arm into a blade. He then examined his limb and produced several spikes from it. "Cool..." He marveled at his new ability.

"COOL!" The more excitable students all cheered.

"The ability to modify his arms into different shapes. Then with that in mind, I wonder if he could modify his entire body, like spikes from his feet to keep himself planted in the ground, or reforming his arms in the event they are damaged or even break off. And continuing that mindset, I wonder if it would be possible for him to break spikes off himself and throw them as projectiles. And, it goes without saying, if he could make blades, he could probably make shields as well to make frontal assaults safer..." Midoriya analyzed, writing the abilities of the crystalline creature down, as well as his theories on improvement.

However, he was eventually stopped when he was hit upside the head by Asui's tongue. "You're creeping me out again, Izuku. Just watch the fight. Now it's getting interesting." She told her boyfriend.

The robot started walking towards the crystalline creature, but the alien's eyes glowed again as he rushed forward, attempting to slash the Mechadroid with his arm-blade. But unfortunately, the robot jumped in the air to avoid it, spinning its three legs and falling down on to the boy-turned alien, leaving him pinned in a crater the two created. "Uh-oh. 'Think I'm in trouble." He said worriedly.

"Crap! The robot's too fast!" Kaminari said.

"Indeed. And it seems like this alien's durability is to compensate for a lack of agility." Iida noted.

"Not to mention, the boy's lack of experience is definitely showing. He's focusing more on hitting it than defending and he's going for big, powerful swings that are also slow and predictable." Midnight said.

"Now would be a REALLY good time to test Midoriya's 'growing spikes all over' idea!" Uraraka said worriedly.

Meanwhile, Max and Gwen saved the ranger. "What is going on here?" The park official asked, trying to ignore the screaming civilians and fire all around them.

"You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you. Now come on." Gwen told him, taking off with her grandfather following after her, but the ranger hesitated for a moment.

"Monsieur, why aren't you running! Escape, quickly!" Aoyama told the ranger.

"He's probably in shock. I mean, this has to be the craziest situation he's even seen in his life. It's an alien fighting a giant robot. Even in our world, this would be pretty insane." Shoji pointed out.

"Which is why it's important for heroes performing rescues to ensure the civilians are following them instead of just running like Gwen and Max did." Yaoyorozu said.

"True, but heroes also have to be on the move to ensure there are no other civilians at risk, or to carry away those who are too injured to move on their own. It would've been better if Gwen had made sure she had his full attention and given him more clear, concise instructions." Present Mic told the rich girl.

He then looked to the battlefield as the robot let the alien up, only to grab him and throw him at the ranger's truck, forcing him to dive out of the way, the crystalline creature JUST missing him as it slammed into his vehicle. At this point, the park official FINALLY decided to run.

"Then again, sometimes all it takes is a good jolt to bring you back to your senses." The Voice Hero added.

"Better late than never, I guess." Jiro said.

"Now Ben can go all-out against that thing without worrying about civilians!" Sato cheered.

"But he's still getting the hang of this alien, so he probably CAN'T go all-out yet." Koda reminded the Sugar Rush-user.

The transformed hero crawled his way out of the rubble, looking up and facing the robot once again. Gwen turned back to look at her mutated cousin as he leapt out of the way of another laser. He then tried to run away as yet another laser was fired at him, but he was cut off by a laser once again. He tried to find another safe direction to go in, but noticed the robot was readying one more laser. He managed to duck under this one, but it struck a tree and caused it to fall... Right towards Gwen, who was too stunned to move, staring wide-eyed at the tree as it fell towards her, about to crush her.

"Oh, no! Gwen!" All the girls cried out.

"Move, dumbass! Thought you were the smart one!" Bakugo shouted.

"Come on, Bakubro! She's only ten, she's probably too scared to move!" Kirishima told him.

"Everyone always believes the crisis response is 'fight or flight', but there's a third response that's probably the most common, but the worst option for most situations. 'Freeze'." Midnight said.

However, in an instant, the tree was sliced perfectly in half, revealing the crystalline creature standing in front of her with a massive diamond spike coming from his back that had split the tree, saving her. "So, we even?" He asked as the spikes retracted.

"Even." Gwen confirmed with a nod.

"Alright, Ben!" All the students cheered.

"Nice save, Ben! Good job!" Ojiro praised.

"Aww, they DO care for each other!" Hagakure said happily.

"Seems like you called it about being able to make those spikes from anywhere, Problem Child." Aizawa said, looking to Midoriya.

"Th-thank you, sir!" Midoriya said with a bow.

"Now, let's see how he puts it to use." The Erasure Hero said, looking intently at the screen.

However, this tender moment was soon ruined as the robot suddenly grabbed his entire body with one hand. "Uh-oh!" The hero cried out worriedly as the robot lifted him up and grabbed his left arm, where the Omnitrix would've been on Ben, with its other hand, trying to rip it off.

"Oh, god... I think it's attempting to rip his arm off!" Iida said in horror.

"Do you think it can reform an ENTIRE arm if he loses it?" Kaminari asked.

"That might be the least of his problems. That's the arm the Omnitrix is on. So if he rips it off, that might turn off the transformation and change him back to plain, old Ben. Missing an arm." Jiro said in concern.

The boy-turned-alien struggled at first, before remembering what he could do in this form, transforming the arm into a mass of spikes, destroying the arm trying to rip off his.

"Alright!" The students all cheered.

"The kid's a quick learner, you gotta give him that." Present Mic praised.

However, to retaliate for this, the robot blasted him away with the laser in the palm of the hand holding him.

"Ooh!" Most the students- and even a few of the teachers- cringed from the blast.

"He should've made some spikes for the hand hold his body as well to totally free himself." Midnight said.

"Freeing his arm was the priority, but I do agree. He's not factoring EVERYTHING about the fight into account. That could get him hurt, as we're seeing." All Might agreed.

Max could only watch in horror as his mutated grandson flew threw the air and crashed into a building. "Ben!" He called out to him.

The hero got up and held out his arms, hoping to block and maybe power through the next blast. For a while, it was working, but the laser began refracting off his arms, sending split beams to fly in all directions, narrowly missing his family. And at this point, he could no longer hold it and was pushed back.

"Whoa! The laser bounced off him in all different directions!" Kaminari said.

"I don't know if that's seriously awesome, or seriously dangerous." Ashido added.

Yaoyorozu's eyes widened. "Of course! Refraction! Lasers are beams of light or other electromagnetic radiation that can pass through and bounce off reflective surfaces! Such as crystals! Like this alien!" She pointed out.

"So, it could be possible that, should he find the right angle, he may actually be able to reflect the robot's own laser back at it!" Iida exclaimed.

"It's risky, but with the robot being so much more maneuverable than him, I'm not seeing any other way." Midoriya said.

But now, on the ground, he got an idea.

The alien hero then got up as the robot approaches. "C'mon! Burn one in here!" The mutated ten-year-old challenged as he points to his chest, goading the robot into preparing another shot.

"Get out of there. Run!" Max cried out. But the next shot fired and Ben held his palms up to it. He was still pushed back by it a little, but he had now gotten the hang of reflecting the robot's lasers.

"He's doing it! He's got the angles down!" Mineta cheered.

"Then that means it's good night for robo-face!" Kirishima declared.

"Yeah! Get a taste of your own medicine, ya freak!"Dark Shadow added.

"Indeed. Pardon my language, but in this case I believe it's warranted to say... karma is a bitch." Tokoyami finished.

"'What comes around, goes around.' Let's see how you like it, ya techno freak!" The crystalline creature declared, finally refracting the laser at the right angle to send it sweeping across the robot, slicing it completely in half with its own laser blast, obliterating its upper body, causing the lower half to fall back and hit the ground, before exploding.

"All right!" Gwen and Max cheered.

"YEAH!" All the students cheered.

"That was so awesome! You saved the day, Ben!" Uraraka cheered.

"Well done, young man! You might be well on your way to becoming a hero!" All Might said, proud of the boy.

"He's still got a lot of growing up to do, but he's on the right track." Aizawa admitted. "Still, if it could be removed, I'd definitely call for that option." He added.

"Way to go, Be-" Max started to congratulate his grandson, drawing the attention of the saved campers, who stared at the two. "...Um - Diamond-headed guy!" The elder quickly corrected himself, not wanting to let the secret slip.

"Oops! Almost let the secret slip!" Hagakure said.

"Why shouldn't they tell him who he is? He's the hero, get the glory!" Bakugo declared.

"And show them grandpa just let a ten-year-old run into danger and fight that thing? I'm sure that'd go over well with child services." Ojiro said.

"Not to mention, they'd have to explain the Omnitrix, which would no doubt result in the government taking them into custody and trying to take the device for themselves." Midnight said.

Everyone paled at either of those two ideas. "Still, that's a pretty good name for that guy." Kaminari said.

Once again, the cards held by the sonic screaming teacher glowed with new information. "Diamondhead! A petrosapien, an alien entirely composed of a nigh-indestructible crystal, making him HIGHLY durable, alongside superhuman strength. And, of course, he can change the shape of the crystals on his body to basically any form he can imagine and refract light through his crystal body to devastating effect!" Present Mic announced.

"Awesome! That's so manly!" Kirishima cheered.

"That gives this alien a surprising range of versatility. Now if only he had some form of projectiles, he could handle almost any situation." Midoriya said, not noticing the smirks of the hosts.

"Oh yeah! Who's bad?! Yeah!" Diamondhead cheered, jumping up and down triumphantly like a child who scored a goal in a sport. Gwen and Max silently try to wave at him to make him notice the people, then shook their heads in embarrassment when he did.

There were several groans, but even more laughs at this. "Well, he IS still a kid, at the end of the day." Uraraka said.

"But now that he's got that power at his fingertips, he'll have to be more mature and responsible." Iida said sternly.

"Oh, come on. There's nothing wrong with having a little bit of fun along the way." Ashido defended the boy.

Diamondhead stood up tall and cleared his throat, trying to save face. "Well, I… think my work here is done." He declared, before quickly jaunting away.

"Who was that guy?" One camper asked the rest, who simply shrugged to each other as Gwen and Max quietly tiptoed away.

Hagakure giggled at this. "Very nice. S Tier stealth." She said sarcastically.

"Did they really even need to sneak away like that? As long as Ben doesn't head right for their campsite, they should be fine." Koda asked.

"Yeah, just have him go into the trees, turn back and head for camp." Sero agreed.

"Better to be safe than sorry." Jiro said with a shrug.

Back in the depths of space, the ship was being repaired by drones. While inside the ship, the tyrant had somehow found out what happened to his Mechadroid. "Failure?! Unbelievable! The puny Earth being that is keeping the Omnitrix from me- will soon hang on my trophy wall." He declared with dangerous fury in his voice.

"Crap. That guy's getting pissed." Kaminari said fearfully.

"And he'll only continue to do so with each failed attempt to capture the Omnitrix. Megalomaniac's like him are also self-absorbed narcissists, so any act of defiance to them is seen as an act of disrespect. And respect and power are everything to them, so hurting that fragile illusion of power, respect and control is the worst thing you could do to them." All Might said, seeing all too much of All For One in this alien tyrant.

Gwen and Max were packing up their campsite to continue their travels. "Where's Ben?" Max asked.

"He's probably being lazy and trying to skip out on packing up the campsite. Disgraceful!" Iida said.

"Or, he's probably messing around with the Omnitrix again. Which is probably worse." Asui guessed.

"I haven't seen him since breakfast." Gwen told him.

Max heard a distant sonic boom, before its source immediately arrives in front of him. A raptor-like creature with blue skin, a blue and black striped tail, three-clawed hands, spikes on the elbows and literal balls on its feet. The head had a large cone-shaped spike on the back and its face was covered by a visor.

"Whoa! This guy is cool! He's like a raptor!" Ashido said in awe.

Iida, however, was shocked and slightly horrified. "That was... a sonic boom we heard... That means that alien... is going faster than the speed of sound!" He said in disbelief.

"Oh, yeah... That's just a bit faster than you, huh?" Kaminari asked.

"Plus Ultra time?" Ashido suggested nervously.

"But look at those claws! Those could probably do some serious damage!" Hagakure said.

"Ben?" Max asked in surprise.

The visor then lifted to reveal the creature's unique striped face and solid green eyes. "Yep. -Hey, check this out!" He declared, before he used super-speed to break camp and pack the baggage in record time. "Pretty fast, huh?" He asked, before the Omnitrix timed out, turning the alien back to Ben.

"It even has a built-in visor. That kinda makes it look like it's wearing a motorcycle helmet. Totally punk rock." Jiro said, impressed.

"Damn. I could barely even see him moving." Bakugo growled, realizing he'd have a SERIOUSLY tough time fighting this thing if he fought it.

"X-L-R-8! A Kineceleran! With wheels connected to their feet, they are capable of moving up to EIGHT HUNDRED miles an hour! With sharp claws to combine with high speeds to slice just about anything to ribbons!" Present Mic announced one final time. [1]

"X-L-R-8? The heck kind of name is that?" Ashido asked, before everyone heard giggling and turned to Yaoyorozu.

"O-oh, I'm sorry. It's a pun on the word "accelerate", as in gaining speed." She explained, the group pretty evenly split between laughing and groaning.

Uraraka then turned to the only member of the class who wasn't laughing or groaning: Iida, who was completely silent. "I-Iida? You okay?" She asked.

The class rep was in total shock after Present Mic said the alien's top speed. "Eight... Hundred... This child is nearly EIGHT TIMES faster than me WHILE I'm using Recipro Burst, my ultimate speed move." Iida wept, devastated he was COMPLETELY outclassed by this delinquent slacker of a child. [2]

"I think this is gonna be the best summer ever." Ben declared excitedly.

"Absolutely." Max agreed with a smile.

"It's definitely going to be interesting. So, where'd you go anyway?" Gwen asked.

"Just had to take care of a couple of things before our vacation really got rolling." Ben explained, looking away from his grandfather with a smug look on his face.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Midnight said.

"Definitely not liking the smug look on his face." Asui agreed with her teacher

"I'm guessing for him to take so long getting back from where he was going, he went pretty far. Probably all the way back to the city. I can only imagine what he did there." Shoji said.

On the streets of Bellwood, Cash and JT were hung on a tree by their underwear by the side of the road.

"Ha! Karma, jerks!" Ashido laughed.

"That is completely unacceptable! He abused his speed for petty, personal, irresponsible reasons and performed the same horrible cruelty as those delinquents! He's just as much a bully as them!" Iida scolded, feeling personally attacked a speedster used their gift for evil.

"Well, I believe America has a golden rule: 'treat others how you wish to be treated.' He's simply treating them how they treated him." Anemone said.

"Yes, but that slogan was literally meant for the OPPOSITE of this, to treat each other well and NOT bully each other." All Might said awkwardly.

"Still, this just proves more and more why we regulate Quirks and why an immature, irresponsible, impractical, downright FOOLISH child like Ben Tennyson shouldn't have the power of the Omnitrix if he uses it for petty, schoolyard revenge." Aizawa ranted, his hair and scarf flaring up as his eyes glowed.

"Jeez, dude, take a chill pill. It ain't that deep. It's not like he drop-kicked their knees at 800 mph so they can never walk again." Maverick told him.

"Dude. How'd we get up here?" Cash asked with a groan.

"Uh, I'm not sure. It all happened so fast." JT groaned as well.

"Hey, somebody? Anybody? Little help up here, please!" Cash called to passing cars.

"Still, crazy we've already seen four out of ten. That's almost half." Kaminari said.

"And all of them were cooler than most of us! It's not fair! I thought we'd be like gods compared to a world without Quirks!" Mineta complained.

"Yeah, even in a world with no powers, I doubt anyone would see you and your sticky balls as a god, Mineta." Asui told him, causing him to start whining.

The screen then faded to black, the viewing coming to a stop for now. "So, would anyone like to give their first impressions?" Anemone asked.

"It was so cool! So much mystery! Who was that big alien villain? What did he want with the Omnitrix? And where was it going before it wound up with Ben?" Ashido wondered.

"I liked the action. I wanna see more of that fire guy!" Bakugo declared.

"Fire manipulation, animalistic senses and agility, super durability and extreme speed. So many diverse powers, I can't wait to see what else the watch has." Midoriya said eagerly.

"I hope he has a water alien." Asui hoped.

"Kinda sucks he can only choose one at a time, though." Sero noted.

"Yeah, but maybe he'll figure out how to use it better in the future?" Uraraka theorized.

"I still say it's a mistake to let the kid keep the thing. It's too dangerous in the hands of any ordinary human, let alone a ten-year-old brat." Aizawa said.

"I'm PRETTY sure we've gone over you can't take it off without alien tech." Present Mic reminded him.

"Besides, I'm sure he'll get better. Go easy on him. It's not like he's done anything unforgivable. Plus, I like his spunk. He's got the passion of youth!" Midnight declared.

"Regardless of that, I do find it admirable that he want to use the watch to help people, purely to make things better. It's as Anemone said, his idealisms are what heroes should strive for!" All Might cheered.

"I suppose his acts of heroism are noble. But still, I would like to see him be less of a little troublemaker!" Iida said, chopping his arms towards the end.

"Jeez, Iida. Lighten up. It's not like you weren't a troublemaker at ten." Sero told him.

"Nah. Iida's probably acted like a strict old grandma since he was first born." Kaminari teased, leaving Iida aghast.

"Okay, I think we've gotten a decent idea where you guys stand with the kid. Then on to his next adventure." Maverick declared as the screen came to life once more.
