If Zhou Tian truly forced that Deity behind him to surface, the Gods of that faction understood well that by the standards of the Divine Realm Gods, none of them—high or low—would likely survive.
Although they didn't know why an ordinary Deity like Zhou Tian had the backing of a great god who mastered the Rule of the Undead, none of that mattered. If they didn't want to die, then faced with Zhou Tian's assault, those Deities could not attempt a counterattack. Instead, they had to ensure Zhou Tian's safety at all costs.
In other words, believing Zhou Tian had a powerful Deity supporting him, the only thing those Deities within that faction could do under attack from Zhou Tian was to retreat continually. After Zhou Tian had "played enough," he would naturally leave. But before that, if they dared retaliate against Zhou Tian in any way, the consequences that awaited them would be utterly unbearable.
