"Mm." Perry Walker nodded, "Brothers share life and death."
The old King smiled with relief, "That's right, the two of you are brothers born of the same mother. You should help each other, face enemies together, never harm your family, because doing so is hurting yourself... Right now, you may not understand fully, but just remember my words. When you grow up, you will understand."
The two little boys nodded in unison.
A nurse walked over and spoke softly.
"Mr. Prince, the operating room is ready."
The old King gently touched the tender cheeks of the two boys, then withdrew his hand. Ivana Bennett stepped forward, pulling the two children aside.
Lucas Walker personally helped lift the old King onto the rolling bed that had been brought in.
The whole family went out together, accompanying him all the way to the operating room door. The two kids thoughtfully held his hand the entire time.
