The police officer frowned slightly, "That's unlikely."
"Officer, I've noticed that you've been using the word 'unlikely' since we began. When I said maybe someone else put the body in Hans Geoffrey's trunk, you said it's unlikely. When I mentioned someone hiding in the villa, you said the likelihood is low."
Marcel Jefferson smiled slightly, looked at the officer on the witness stand, and asked, "A young girl goes out to meet friends late at night, but by the next day, she's found dead. Do you think that's likely?"
The officer's frown deepened, his face showing a slight discomfort.
"Did the police reduce the intensity of their search for other leads because the likelihood was low?" Marcel Jefferson asked.
The officer replied sternly, "Of course not. We conducted a thorough and meticulous investigation of this case."
