Jane Sampson's happiness did not last long. When she changed out of her formal dress and casually rummaged through her wardrobe, the smile on her face gradually faded and then disappeared.
The pink formal dress she had hung back in place before going out was gone, and so were a red one and a sapphire blue one. Not to mention, several of her usual clothes had also disappeared.
Worst of all, every single one of her hot pants was missing.
If one item was missing, Jane Sampson might have needed to think about it, even suspecting that she had stuffed it in some corner and forgotten about it.
But that so many were gone, there was no doubt, someone definitely cleaned them out.
After coming out of the cloakroom, Jane Sampson, fuming, went to the living room to find James Black sitting on the sofa.
She stood in front of James, stamping her foot angrily, "Did you take the clothes from my wardrobe? Three formal dresses, and many other clothes."
