After some idle chat, Keira Leaf lowered her eyes and said softly, "If there's nothing else, I will head back first."
"Okay."
Lucas Taylor stood up to see Keira Leaf out of the cafe, but as soon as they stepped outside, her mobile phone rang.
Seeing that it was a call from Joshua Sulliven, Keira Leaf quickened her pace and rushed back to the grand building, running all the way to the office room on the rooftop.
No sooner had she pushed open the door than she found herself in an embrace: "Out meeting someone in secret again? Not answering your phone?"
Keira Leaf stuck out her tongue: "It wasn't a secret meeting, just catching up with a friend. Besides, didn't I rush back as soon as I saw your call?"
"Catching up with a friend and holding hands?" Joshua Sulliven's breath sprayed on her neck, and Keira Leaf dodged slightly.
"Holding hands... I just... Joshua Sulliven, how did you know I went out to meet a friend!"
