The days after meeting the Wizard King were calm, yet filled with a sense of purpose. For the Akatsuki squad, it wasn't just about completing missions or proving strength—it was about building something lasting.
Back inside the Akatsuki base, Avi, Asta, and Yuno stood at the heart of their massive dimension. The castle loomed behind them, casting long shadows across the fertile plains, glittering rivers, and tranquil forests.
Avi stepped forward, glancing over a tablet-like projection from his system.
Avi (thought): This base has potential to become more than a squad HQ. It can be a sanctuary—a home. Not just for us, but for those we trust.
---
The group began by focusing on the ecosystem.
Avi (clone) summoned a massive storage scroll he had prepared after purchasing biological samples and eggs of various aquatic species: rainbow trout, golden carp, bluefin fish, even freshwater crustaceans and rare magic-imbued aquatic life from the system shop.
He tossed a few talisman-like seals into the river. With a flash of light, the seals dissolved, and the once-quiet waters shimmered. Dozens—then hundreds—of fish hatched and multiplied within seconds, each species distributed along different parts of the river based on compatibility.
Avi: "These are enchanted. They'll adapt, self-regulate, and sustain their own populations. We'll have a fully working aquatic ecosystem in less than a month."
Yuno looked into the river, eyes wide.
Yuno: "You didn't just fill the river… you created a food chain."
Next, they turned their attention to the forest.
With system support, Avi released a set of magical capsules. Each one opened mid-air and conjured different animals—deer, rabbits, goats, boars, even a few tamed magical beasts—each carefully chosen to maintain balance without destroying the ecosystem.
Asta (laughing): "There are rabbits running around now! This place is better than any kingdom!"
Avi: "We'll build barns and shelters, too. Controlled areas for livestock and meat supply. But first…"
---
Avi knew this paradise couldn't run on its own. They needed honest, loyal, and hardworking people—and who better than the villagers from Hage?
He turned to Asta.
Avi: "Let's go home."
Later that day, the trio appeared near Hage Village, cloaked in plain attire. As they reached the familiar dirt paths of their childhood, the laughter of children and the distant toll of the orphanage bell filled the air.
Father Orsi, older but still as lively and kind, stepped out to greet them.
Father Orsi: "Asta! Yuno! And Avi? Look at you three—looking like nobles now!"
The reunion was warm. They sat inside the orphanage dining room, catching up.
Avi finally broached the subject.
Avi: "Father, we… we've created a place. A new base. Hidden. Secure. And huge. There's food, space, safety—everything you'd need."
Father Orsi looked at him curiously.
Avi (serious tone): "We want to relocate the orphanage. You, the kids, the villagers we trust. Not to just live—but to build something new."
Father Orsi was silent for a moment. Then, with a soft smile:
Father Orsi: "You three always dreamed big… But if what you say is true, and this can help the children live better lives—how can I say no?"
---
With Father Orsi's blessing, they held a secret meeting that night under the old tree behind the church. Avi explained the dimension. He showed a glimpse of it to a few trusted villagers, farmers, and craftsmen.
Eyes widened. Mouths gaped.
Old Farmer Garen: "You're telling me… I can grow crops on land that never dries, with magic-powered tools?"
Asta (grinning): "Not just that! You'll be part of history. The first farmers of Akatsuki!"
Twenty-four people agreed that night—farmers, herbalists, builders, even a carpenter couple and a few battle-wounded former knights.
Avi assigned Yuno to handle land distribution and construction layout, while he used his system to buy enchanted farming tools, automated irrigation, magical greenhouses, and protective barriers.
---
Before anyone could access the Akatsuki base, they needed approval tattoos. Asta, now the true owner of the dimensional door, carefully gave each person a small tattoo on their forearm: a red cloud—the emblem of Akatsuki.
These tattoos weren't just marks of entry. They were proof of trust. Symbols of a new beginning.
---
That night, Asta stood on a balcony of the castle, looking over the flickering lights of the base as new settlers were brought in. Avi stood beside him.
Asta: "You know… when I dreamed of becoming Wizard King, I never thought I'd build a kingdom of my own."
Avi: "That's what makes you different, Asta. You fight for others. This isn't just your path to the throne—it's theirs too."
