Charles gazed at the clusters of white shapes emerging from the hull, his mind racing. "What are these? How do I deal with them? They don't seem like they would be vulnerable to physical attacks."
But before Charles could figure it out, the things in front of him suddenly swooped down with a howl.
A gust of wind swept in, and Charles was lifted into the air to slam heavily against the wall, the white specters directly enveloping his body.
The very next second, Charles's brain felt woozy, and though he wanted to struggle, he couldn't muster the strength; there was this inexplicable sensation of being weightless.
"Zzzap, zzzap~" Bright electric arcs flash continuously over Charles's body; however, this kind of attack was completely useless against the white specters.
Charles's body rapidly contorted, and in an instant, a giant bat appeared in his place.
