"Aston, are you okay? You seem a bit distant." She expressed full concern with some confusion about what was happening. How should she handle this?
Aston paused for a moment, "I think so? I just don't know what to say."
Jazmin was debating on waiting it out for a few more moments. "Can you tell me what is going on?" she pushed further.
"How do I put this into words?... She spoke to me using telepathic communication like how the pack link works." He nearly tripped over his words in disbelief.
Jazmin found that fascinating, "Oh. Neat, I guess...Okay, I am speechless." She found herself completely useless and lost for words. She was stumped. Surely this would blow over quickly, right? She hoped that this wouldn't be a recurring thing for them.
"Is there something you want to ask?" he felt her shift with confusion.
She hesitated, "Uhm, No...At least I don't think so.."
"I'm not sure how to talk about what I have experienced. I never thought it was possible, Jazmin," he said with honest intent. All werewolves believed in the moon goddess to some degree, but never thought she would reach out personally to a wolf.
Jazmin was also aware how rare it would be to ever speak to the moon goddess. It was a blessing to find your true mate, let alone hear the moon goddess speak to you directly. Maybe the pack elders would be a good place to start to look for answers. Wouldn't hurt to ask, "Can we go to the pack elders about this, maybe they have a book or something about it we can look at for more information?"
"That might be a good idea, or at least worth trying to see," he agreed easily. Aston hardly spoke to the pack elders. He was overdue for a visit to them. Surely, they had stories to share about the moon goddess that were passed down through the generations of Alphas. The elders lived outside of the pack for their well-being and privacy. He knew what they needed to do next and fast.
