"The Grand Elder… you mean the One-Eyed Sword Lord?" Daoist Chu asked, remembering something.
"You know his title?" The disciple looked surprised.
"I've heard of it… and his stories," Daoist Chu replied with a nod.
"He must be famous with that kind of title," Meng Bai said, intrigued.
"Of course. He was one of the top experts who spent years in the Immortal Court. After retiring, he returned to the sect and took up the role of Grand Elder," Daoist Chu explained.
"I'm flattered that people still remember the Grand Elder's accomplishments," the disciple said with pride.
"It might have been a long time," Daoist Chu said with a smile, "but the Immortal Court never forgets those who made meaningful contributions."
As they soared higher toward the upper levels of the residential peak, Meng Bai couldn't contain his curiosity any longer.
"So… what did the Grand Elder do to earn a title like the One-Eyed Sword Lord? It sounds like something out of a legend."
